Oh, I swam outside this summer (for long course we always swim outside) and within the first day I was tanned from head to toe.

Hahaha you must have been swimming for a long time then! I have tan lines from my swimsuit, as I live in a very sunny area. My skin's changed enough that I need to buy new makeup, cause the type I used last year is like three shades too light. XD

Same, I have tan lines from my swimsuit as well. I don't wear makeup, I just keep it to what I look like.

my tan lines are absolutely horrendous.
once, i took off my swimsuit and i was so tanned that
i thought i was wearing another one underneath it.

What got you into it: i was just naturally drawn, baby!
Advice you'd give to people interested in the same sport(s): shave your legs. that is all.
Favorite parts: getting in, diving, just being in the water.
Least favorite parts: getting out & pruney fingers.
What do you want to discuss the most on this thread? What interests you best?: just swimming! i love swimming, the water, ugh. everything. is just so amazing. but other things like parasailing and canoeing and etc intrests me alot.

What you currently do: I am a waterskier on [url]this[/url] show team! I do swivel (kind of), pyramids, conventional doubles, ballet (also, kinda), and I I have tried wakeboarding!
What you have done: erm. what do you mean by this?
What you want to do: I would absolutely LOVE to learn to scuba dive or get on a swim team!
What got you into it: my mom has waterskied for about thirty-some years now and is still going! she is my motivation and is the one who got me into the sport!
[size=75]Advice you'd give to people interested in the same sport(s): never look down. if you look down, you g down. simple as that. you need to have faith in yourself and anyone else that you are working with. when you achieve a goal, that is the best feeling that anyone on this earth could ever feel. and when you don't make it? that just builds you up stronger! you need to faith in yourself or you will not be able to accomplish anything! no matter how big or how small.[/size]

Favorite parts: I can not even express how much fun it is simply to be on the water. but you know what? the best part is being around other people and having fun!
Least favorite parts: ha! the answer this is and always will be winter. when the waterski season first start, the water is so cold, you can barely feel your toes! and at the end of the season? even worse! it has you gasping for air! though, this depends on where you are at!
What do you want to discuss the most on this thread? What interests you best?: waterskiing interests me best, yes. but I would absolutely love to earn tips on other sports from people who are having fun doing what hey love!
