Della listened to everyone's arguments. She was tempted to go with Jakub, since she was more comfortable on a boat, having grown up in Arbor Harbor. But Ferondir's idea seemed much safer, and she really had no intentions of dying. Not until she had become a world famous potions master at least. Without saying a word, she followed after Ferondir towards the mansion.

Wow. What a bunch of idiots. None of them were even considering the others' arguments for a second. It was probably one of the most boring arguments in history.
"It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye. Or a boat. You... Interesting individuals aren't even hearing the others speak past your inflated egos. You," Jack pointed at Zeph, "need to respect other people's property. You," the finger rotated to face Jakub, "should consider something other than what you for some reason consider 'fate'."
"And you, Guzore, need to tell people when to shut up."

Sapphire was fed up with all this arguing, so she started to walk inside, annoyed at Zephyrus for using his magic against Jacob, and annoyed at Jacob for doing something as idiotic as to consider sailing. Another crack of lightning startled her, causing her to slip on the muddy ground. She landed face-first, and felt a jolt of pain go through her face. In pain, fearful, and annoyed, she got up without a word, holding in a few tears, and walked inside.

Guzore was surprised at Jack's outburst - and the fact that he said anything at all. He hadn't really talked much. He did have a point though. Jack's right, guys. Arguing will get us nowhere. How about we take a vote on what to do and the majority wins?

W-Well. Zeph stuttered, slightly surprised by Jacks comment.
It seemed weirdly uncharacteristic.
Then again, Zeph didn't really know him that well either.
Zeph turned when he felt his face go red.
F-fine. Be right back. He said dryly- pushing his soggy hair back, marching towards the boat.
He could be heard mumbling things about
-inflated ego?!
-One to talk-
-Ergh.
The best the others could see of him was his distorted silhouette against the rain.
The pattern that the runes were appearing in could be seen slowing- as he was scribbling slashes into select different runes inside one of the Runic Terminals with the Stele.
After a few minutes the runes seemed to vibrate- then a quarter of the runes seemed to dissipate into dust and fade away. Though most were still active- as indicated by there pulsation.
He marched back, still with a temper.
Happy? He spoke harshly- but still focused. Refusing to admit what it was that he just did to the runes.
He stood glaring at the group- waiting for any sort of indication that they would give up this relentless argument and go inside.
He left quite a bit of his stuff in his room. ( Room 20 )

Guzore saw Zeph angry now too, unsure of how to react.
You know what? How about we go inside and make some tea and play cards? Does that sound nice to anyone?

Nice one, Guzore. You really let your friends down again.

Ugh. The rain wasn't getting any drier, and besides, maybe something interesting would happen inside. Jack shook his hair to get off the rain and scowled when he only managed to get wetter. He trudged up the stairs and into the mansion. Whoever felt like arguing out there could do whatever they wanted. Jack had probably only said so much to them because he knew they wouldn't listen.

At least until the storm passes. Zeph said, cooling down.
He glanced over at the runes, still pulsating brightly- even through the rain.
I'll be in the mansion.
He said, turning his back to the group and marching towards the mansion.
The rain seemed to stop just inches before it hit him, and skirted off away from him before falling to the ground.
Not in the mood for rain. He mumbled, though muffled by the wind barrier he created around himself.
Though that was a lie, he knew the rain was actually calming him. Like it always did.

Della watched as people started coming in. She waved slightly to Jack, but when Zeph came in she looked away, pulling her knees up to her chest. She was soaking wet, and she didn't like that. She sighed, wishing there was some way to warm up.

Guzore couldn't let his friends continue being soaking wet and grumpy. He paced around the mansion, processing the day that had happened. It was an adventure, all right, but a stressful one at times. He arrived around the back of the mansion and noticed a brick chimney. He suddenly had an idea and ran inside to Room 16.
