Waningpaw watched as Flint jumped around, slightly confused by what the tom was trying to accomplish. He walked towards Flint, smiling slightly as he moved closer, not even crouching or seeming like he was going to pounce. "Nightshade might trust you enough. Besides, who else could be your mentor? It is not like you will just suddenly be a warrior." He then leapt forwards, tapping the other cat lightly. "You're it!"

Ashenpaw shook her head, "I can't though! I can't help my clan..." She began to cry wondering when all this would stop. "I can't help them, I'm useless!"

Flint tilted his head and quietly mewed, I thought we were training.
As he chased Waningpaw across the clearing, he leaped into a bush and slid deeper into it until he fell into a hole. Glancing around the cave, he padded deeper. "Waningpaw! Come!" He yelled, adding, "This place is fun looking!"
Crouching beneath the entrance on the roof of the cave, he slid back a bit and got ready to tag him back.

Ravenstar stopped and leaped down finally behind Snowcloud. "What will you do with her?" He asked.
Circling Ashenpaw slowly, he growled, "Will you be useless like a cat drowning in water? Will you not be able to help your Clan? Will you not help your clan?"

Waningpaw giggled and dashed away. He then heard Flint's call and rushed back. "What is it?" He asked, walking through the bushes until he fell through the hole. "Ouch..." He muttered, licking his cuts as he stood up. "Woah, what is this place?" He asked, looking around. "Flint?!"

Flint silently creeped up to the shadowy figure of Waningpaw as he touched the other cats shoulder gently. Letting out a mrrow of laughter, he ran to the other side of the cave quickly and slipped into a tunnel. "Come and catch me if you can!" He meowed, running faster every paw step.
Skidding to a halt and kicking dust up his ears, he realized it was a dead end. "He's going to catch me!" Meowed Flint, starting to run back.

Waningpaw hissed slightly, startled by Flint's sudden appearance in the dark. This place was weird. Did it go all the way under the camp? That would be cool. Waning could imagine popping out the other end of the tunnels in the apprentice den and scaring the other apprentices. HE crawled down into the caves before running after Flint on the slick stones. There were so many tunnels down here. Where had Flint gone? Waningpaw kept on running, looking down each one until he came to a dead end. "Flint?" He called, figuring he must have missed the cat somewhere.

Seeing a little hole, Flint quickly scurried into it. He came out in the other end beside the camp as his eyes grew wide with pride. Slipping back into the hole he had come out through, he quickly saw Waningpaw at the other end of the tunnel once he was running as he yelled, "Come here! You'll be surprised what I found!"
Halting, he starting to pad back, tired out by all the running.

Waningpaw spun around. "I-I don't like this... I feel so lost..." Waningpaw looked around at the walls as he walked towards Flint and shook his head. "So, what did you find. I hope it is some fresh air, it smells like mouse dung down here..." He whimpered slightly, feeling slightly suffocated. "What is this place anyway?"

Flint glanced back to see Waningpaw following as he meowed, "You'll find out, come on!"
Getting a burst of energy, he starting to pad faster. "It's not that far away. We'll get out." He meowed, seeing the hole that led to the Clan's camp as he stood next to it.
Pointing to it with his tail, he meowed, "It's just a cave with a network of tunnels. I haven't seen one before but it's cool!"

Waningpaw nodded, understanding what Flint was excited about and ran after the other apprentice, falling a couple times in the darkness. "Wait up!" He mewed, trying to navigate the tunnels. "This is cool, but when can we get out?" He looked at the light as they approached. "Wow... That is kinda cool. I wonder where else we can go in these things!" He mewed excitedly, looking around as if expecting to see another ray of light.

Flint moved out of the way as he realized his fur was really warm. "Another hole?" He mewed half to himself.
Climbing into the hole, he found himself in the camp. He quickly dashed into the hole, hoping no cat saw him as he mewed excitedly, "We just found a way out of camp, secretly!!"
