Grim watched her go, unwilling to stand. His legs felt limp and frozen, and he wanted mostly to keep her there, to watch her closely. His worry was making him sick, as he had never truly worried about anything in his life.

Storm, who had finally caught her breath, walked out into the forest. "Stay here, Arber, I'll be right back." She darted into the trees, spotting Damin. "Hey, you. Feeling better?"

[Canair]

Scarlet inspected each den in turn, making sure the wall was stable. She nodded, starting to clean through the prey once more, rotten and sick prey going in a separate pile. "Grim?" Scarlet asked, walking towards him slowly.

[Bluish]

Damin lurked through the woods, staying close to the ground. Storm's light voice made him jump. "Oh. Yeah I'm fine. I'm feeling a lot better." Damin said, smiling happily at Storm. "Is Arber still upset with me?" He asked cautiously.

Grim looked up, not even caring that she had said his real name out loud. "Hmm?" He mumbled, looking at her paw instead of her face. He seemed fascinated with it, unable to look away.

Storm giggled, musical and bright. "He was never upset, he's just not very good with strangers. He's lucky I'm patient, that's all I have to say." She sniffed the air. "What are you tracking?"

Scarlet sighed, lying beside him. "Ever wondered of having your Own pups," She said quietly and smiled. Scarlet sighed, stretching her legs, resisting the temptation to lick her wound.

[Bluish]

Damin smiled even brighter when he heard Storm giggle. It sounded so sweet, like the tinkling of a wind chime. "Oh, um," Damin said, snapping back to reality. "I was coming back to the camp and I smelt a unfamiliar smell. I'm not sure what it is. I pondered the possibilities of it being a human, a cat, and a dead moose, but I'm not sure." Damin replied, lifting his head up.

Grim finally lifted his head up fully, looking at her. His smile was weak, but sincere. "I can't say I haven't, I've just never found the right female. Namely one that didn't run at the mere mention of my name."

"Do you know what those things smell like?" She inhaled, analyzing the scent that traveled on the wind.

[Bluish]

"Not to the best of my ability, no." Damin sighed, lowering his head and looking away. "I take it you have an idea? If so, please share your knowledge." Damin smiled timidly. He continued to sniff the air and many scent combinations ran through his mind.

Grim finally lifted his head up fully, looking at her. His smile was weak, but sincere. "I can't say I haven't, I've just never found the right female. Namely one that didn't run at the mere mention of my name."

Scarlet chuckled, licking Grim´s cheek. She made a soft purring sound in her throat as she closed her eyes. "I won´t run I promised," She said with a smile.

Grim smiled, laughing faintly. He laid his head back down, his eyes locking onto her paw once more. He kept a different image in his mind than before, though. That of tiny paws, of small furry bodies and lapping pink tongues.

Storm shrugged. "Never hurts to find out. Besides, we're supposed to be looking for any and all humans we can. Gr... Trip's orders." She walked on through the trees, leaping over a small fallen log and darting around several bushes, her nose in the air.
