I brought the female into the camp and laid her down softly "this is Tiny's mother.. She doesn't look to good and I don't think she is gonna make it" I spoke worriedly

Ashenpaw winced, her fear arguing with her sense of protection. "I don't care about myself..." She muttered. "I just want to protect my clan." She looked away. "I-I can't fight... That's why I-I'm training to become... to become a medicine cat. I can't kill anything!" She huddled into a ball, trying to make herself disappear.

Looking at Moonpaw, Claytail nodded glumly. "So be a cat that thinks things through! Star clan knows we have enough warriors to stop something from attacking us, but do we have someone who can think of a way to turn the attack around?" He smiled. "Just remember, being strong isn't all there is to being a warrior. It might help sometimes, but do you think any of us are infallible?"

Snowcloud shook her head. "What good are you to your clan if you are injured?" She repeated, slightly louder. "If enemies attack, and you are hurt, you can't help your clanmates!" She flicked her ears in annoyance. "So how do you prevent that?" She meowed.

Moonpaw looked at Claytail thoughtful and curious. "I guess I have much to learn, then!" She meowed. "But no, I don't think so. We all have our flaws." Even me.. she ended in her thoughts.

Ashenpaw shivered, thinking of making a run for it, but her legs refused to move. For now she was going to talk to this cat. "I-I can't hurt anything... Not even a mouse..." She looked away, slightly ashamed. "I don't want to kill anything. I just want to save my clan." She looked up at the cat and frowned. "Even if I knew how, I couldn't defend myself..."

CLaytail nodded, sighing slightly. "Exactly, we all have our flaws. I for example, really, really can't climb trees. At all. I suck at it." He grinned. "I just suggest you find yours before it ruins your life." He shook his head. "I'm sorry... I just, don't want to see you end up like I did."

Snowcloud leaned close and looked at Ashenpaw. "Listen to me, defending yourself and killing a cat are two different things." She meowed bluntly. "Focus on the defense part. That is how you save your clan." She leaned back again. "I can teach you, and you will defend yourself."

"Something tells me it's gotta do with water." Moonpaw meowed then padded over and brushed against his flank in a comforting way. "Look at it this way, you now have other ways to fight and defend yourself than other cats. We certainly take advantage of having both our eyes." She chuckled softly, hoping to make him feel a little better about it. She certainly didn't like seeing him upset, or anyone she cared about.

Flint shrugged as he slipped into the bush and tugged Waningpaw in with him. "I don't know." He meowed.
Thinking, he glanced in a random direction and meowed, "That way!"
Padding towards the way he pointed to with his tail, he hurried along until he was racing across the undergrowth. Thorns tugged at his fur as he felt himself loose some. Seeing a clearing, he halted and glanced back. "Here."

Ravenstar flicked his ears towards a cat speaking as he snuck through the forest to see a clearing and Snowcloud in it with another cat. Quickly recognizing the Medicine Cat apprentice Ashenpaw, he leaped up onto a branch and unsheathed his claws, digging them into the hard bark. "If you can't defend yourself, you can get killed. What will you do if you get killed? You can't help your Clan that way, you have to defend yourself, too." Ravenstar growled, gripping harder onto the branch.

Snowcloud didn't even blink when Ravenstar joined them. "Exactly." She meowed. "So, defend yourself." She meowed, flicking her tail as a signal.

Whiteleaf was just about to say something else when he heard Featherstar yowl for him again. Nudging Tiny in the rest of the way, he says a quick, "Stay there please," and darts back to the main entrance where Feaherstar and Nightfang are. He then notices the injured she cat that looks oddly like Featherstar between them. "I'lll be back!" He mewed before bounding to his den for some herbs. He should wake Ashenpaw this time as well.

Waningpaw dutifully followed his friend, enjoying being out here together. "So, Flint, if you get back into the clan, do you think Nightshade would continue training you?" He asked, looking around expectantly. He didn't really know what to do now they were in this clearing. He hadn't fought before, just small play fights. He began to pull thorns out of his coat, waiting for Flint to respond or tell them what they were doing here.

Claytail tensed slightly at the mention of his sight. He knew that Moonpaw had meant for it to be comforting, but it was still a loss he had to try and deal with. "I suppose," He meowed quietly. "You know, you could try using both ways. See if you can use your ears more than most cats do during a fight." He smiled, looking at his apprentice. "You know, I have a feeling I'm the one who is supposed to say things like that."

Ashenpaw shivered as the other cat padded towards them. Was this really a prophecy? What was going on? So far she hadn't recognised any of these cats. "I don't want to hurt anyone..." She mewed quietly, backing away in fear. These two cats could rip her apart. "I'm weak when it comes to fighting... I can't hurt anything..." She whimpered, looking around the forest in fear. "I can't fight. You're training the wrong cat."

Flint stayed silent for a little but sighed and meowed, "I don't think so. She won't trust me to be honest."
Starting to pace backwards, crouching down low so the shadows loomed over him. He glanced around the clearing, trying to figure out which way was the best to go. Leaping up onto some bark and unsheathing his claws to stay on, he sprang down, letting his claws slide inside. Flint waited for Waningpaw to attack as he decided he was better at defense.

Ravenstar jumped to another branch as he slid his claws into the rough bark again. "You want to help your clanmates, don't you? Then you have to defend yourself." He taunted, saying it everytime he leaped from a branch.
