Snowcloud padded through the forest and found a large, dead willow tree. She climbed up towards a hole in the tree, jumping from branch to branch. She slipped inside the cave-like hole in the tree and curled up, thoughtful. What cat should I mess with..?

Featherstar narrowed her eyes and flicked her ears at the rogues. "How bold of you to say that. Considering you're all trespassers." She flicked her tail, her only signs of frustration, and warning. "You say you know of clan life, so you should know what happens to trespassers." Her meow close to a hiss.

Moonpaw playfully pushed Claytail with her paw. "You're just saying that!" She meowed. "I could have just been lucky." She padded next to her mentor as they headed towards the border. Claytail grinned, rolling with the push slightly so that he wasn't knocked off balance. "Hey, luck is half of the challenge. Anything can change at a moments notice, both in battle, and while hunting. Think of it this way, if you caught it through luck, it is still a catch, right?" He looked around. "Actually, when hunting, most cats begin to focus on their pray, it is a great time for an ambush."

Featherstar saw a tiny kitten stumble into camp and perked her ears in surprise. The young female had said something about her mother. "Little one, I'm not your mother.." She meowed slowly and softly.

Moonpaw stuck her tongue out at him playfully. "That's so not nice!" She giggled then turned and scented the air. She just caught a rabbit, but she was sure the clan wouldn't mind if she caught more. However, she was scenting the air for other prey. A variety. With a glance towards the border, she scented a vole. Crouching down, she padded towards her prey, her pawsteps near silent on the soft ground.
