Ai couldn't help but to blush at Asiel's words, honestly he was always self conscious about his horns as well, plus the incident with his father in the past. "You really think so..? W-well..I'm glad.." he said softly, struggling to get himself to calm down and relax.

Ai found himself blushing even more as the other complimented him on his horns, "that really means a lot to me..especially after what happened.." he said softly. Smiling as he had kissed him on the cheek the demon kissed him back and wagged his tail, glad to have him back.

Asiel looks up and tilts his head"what do you mean?"

Ai frowned as he realized he had slipped up and revealed something about his past, he had always hated talking about the past but he knew he couldn't back out now. "Years ago...I got into a fight with my father...and it didn't end well..both my horns were nearly ripped off because he thought they weren't natural.." he said softly, tears welling up in his eyes.

Asiel's eyes soften and he hugs Ai"they are natural...they are cute and perfect on you....don't let the lies he told you affect you now...they are not true"

Ai couldn't help but to look away, tears slowly slipping down his cheeks, hardly able to keep himself from thinking about the abuse his father his bestowed upon him when he was younger, traumatizing him. "Well..to him they weren't..but you really think so..? I'm trying not to..he just hurt me so much.." he said softly.

Before long even more tears slipped down his pale colored cheeks, memories of his father flashing in his mind and causing him to quickly grab Asiel's hand. Pulling the other against his chest he rested his head on his, frowning, "I love you too..he was so horrible to me..and nobody cared..nobody did anything to try and help me. He would work me to the point of exhaustion..after I gave training my all he never thought it was good enough..beating me afterwards.. He's the reason why I'm so self conscious.. And I want to be the best father I can be so my kids don't have to go through the hell I did.." he said, not realizing how long he talked for.
