You run as fast as you can you know the hunters are right behind you. You run into the woods hoping to loose them suddenly someone grabs you and pulls you behind a tree. You watch as he hunters go by. you turn around to face the person who just saved you. "sorry but no time for introductions. follow me if you want to live." she said running deeper into the woods she leads you to a camp with people who are like you. some have wings, some have tails, some are furry and some have scales. The girl suddenly turns to face you "welcome, we are the experiments some of us have escaped from the lab, but not all of us. Stay with us if you want to live.

Years ago, six wolves banded together. They made there own pack calling themselves The Rejects, although there pack name came to be Moonlight Pack. The six wolves names were Larentia, the alpha female, Amoux, the alpha male, Sköll, the beta male, Kiyiya, the beta female and the packs two omegas Hrolf and Makoce. They lived happily like that for a few months, that was until the alpha female fell in love with the beta male. The two wolves kept there love a secret from Larentias mate until he caught them red handed. Banishing the two wolves forcing them to leave the pack as they moved away closer to the mountains, Larentia and Sköll made the choice to start there own pack with the name of Forgotten Pack. Amoux had no idea of the growing pack only miles away from his own growing pack, soon Sköll's pack sent out a battle party attacking Amoux and his wolves. The battle was a tradgic fight leading to both Sköll's and Amoux's life. Larentia and Kiyiya became enemies there packs fighting for territory and just pure hatred. But as a new alphas rise to power and winter creeps upon the packs will history repeat its self, or will the wolves be forced to work together to survive.

You wake up in shallow, rocky water. A dense forest lays in front of you,
and the unexplored depths of the ocean lay behind you. Crawling back to
the shore, you are startled as a tall she-cat with shimmering fur steps out
of the thick walls of the forest. A muscular cat walks from behind her, its
eyes gleaming.
"Who dares trespass our territory?" The tom growls, its voice
gruff. Your fur stands on end and you backed up, frightened of what he
would do to you.
"Patience, Sharpeye, I don't see this cat as a threat."
The she-cat addresses the tom as they both approach you. The tom scowls
at you as he speaks.
"What are you here for, rogue?"
The tom steps forward, his tail swishing.
"LostClan... Hmm. Well, kit, you've come to the right place."
The she-cat steps forward once more, closer to the tom.
"I'm Brightstar, the leader of LostClan. Are you hurt?
Would you like a place to rest for the night?"
She meowed softly. Her voice was thin yet crisp, and her eyes were
amber, as if she's seen many battles. As BrightStar begins her trek
towards the forest, she turned back to you, her eyes gleaming.
"Welcome to LostClan. I know you'll enjoy it here."

About 30 years ago, scientists started to conduct experiments. Scientists were focused on genetics, evolutions, and were trying to evolve both together into cross species, or cloning species. Extinct animals were brought back, altered. Animals themselves could be cooked up in the lab and released into the wild as a new species. Genetics to scientists were everything. With the need to study all of this, new technology was created. With just one shot, an animal could change within the week. One sample of DNA could be taken with a scanner from afar, then created in the lab. Scientists could take DNA from one animal, and add it to another with just a shot. Technology and science combined to make the impossible, completely possible.

A couple of scientists came up with new theories and equipment for the ultimate evolution and custom genetics. Of course, they couldn't test it on humans first. But they needed a large enough animal that could handle what was to be injected into them. The animal also needed to be high in numbers, with many genetic variations in the gene pool. The scientists decided to use the horse. At first it started with taking the genes needed for certain coat colors, and applying them to other horses. Over a course of two months, a horses coat could change its color entirely. However, these new features weren't permanent and wouldn't pass on to it's offspring. So the scientists became more persistent to perfect what they had started. Now they created technology that could take genetics from one horse, and apply it to another and completely change the new horses genetics. The mares genetics would always be passed on, even if her genetics were altered previously. However, the stallions new and "improved" features from its inserted genes would not. The scientists started playing with the probability of the fathers genes being passed down instead of the mares.

Throughout this time period of about ten years, the scientists were oblivious to the fact that the population of mares was slowing dwindling down. The scientists, while messing with the horses genetics and chromosomes, had somehow made it impossible for a stallion to pass down an X chromosome for a filly. So now, 30 years later in the year of 3075, there is only 5 mares left. The birth of fillies has completely stopped. At first, the scientists didn't care that this was happening. They only decided to try and fix what they had done when they realized their science experiment animals could go extinct without mares. They researched into what they had done, though there is no telling when fillies will start being born again. They moved all the mares into one general location so they can keep an eye on them. For now, all the scientists can do is sit back and wait for what they had done to wear off.

The 5 band stallions are desperately trying to hang onto their prize possession; their mares. Bachelor stallions roam in large herds, under the lead of older stallions. Some break off from the other stallions to try and get a mare on their own. Though some bachelors have become so desperate, they will work with each other and share the mare between the two of them. The whole mountain of horses is on edge.

The Pony Challenge

Riders gather for may horse training contests. This year a new contest has started for teams of two trainer, One between 16 and 18 and the other between 12-15. The younger is to do most of the work with the older for help. The horses are Chincoteague Ponies, also known as the Assateague horses donated from both herds. They are between the ages of three and four. The all stand between 13.2 and 14.2 hands. The ponies will be Ponies are picked by a drawing. The trainers names are drawn and they pick in the order they are drawn in. This drawing with take place after the normal sale. The Contest is set to run for 1 year. It will start in July after the pony round up and run until the next year the final round is to take place the first weekend in August in a place yet to be picked. There with be a check/event every month. At the end the ponies will be sold at sale or kept by their trainer. The money will be split in half and donated to take care of both herds.

The Winning Team

Two barns have been rivals since before they came under their current owners. No one even knows how it started anymore. Now the time has come for the riders to prove who the best is once and for all. This summer is the time for a tournament. Many events will be held at the local show grounds.
