Icepaw

A growl came from Icepaws throat,"What do you want now,Emberpaw?" He asked,turning his sightless gaze towards the other apprentice and not bothering to answer his question.He knew he probably looked lonely in the shade and alone,but of all the clan cats it had to be Emberpaw. Icepaw rolled his eyes at that thought.

She padded over to Rainstar. "Umm... Rainstar... may I talk to you?" She mewed sadly with her cheeks still soaked.

Out of the corner of her eye Snowpaw noticed the growing crowd in camp and caught snippets of conversations, "..badger" "..dead.." Her fur prickled uneasily and she stood up. "..I'm sorry I need to go see what's going on."

Sparrowclaw - Male - 25 moons - //panic! in the forest ft. Fogpelt and Oakwing
Sparrowclaw felt his teeth meet flesh and tasted the acrid tang of badger blood. The badger let out a pained noise and reached to try and knock him off. Claws scraped by his body and he felt the sting of them cutting through his own pelt. Sparrowclaw bit down harder at the side of its neck, twisting his head to try and worsen the wound before the badger invariably knocked him away. This beast was not leaving alive after what it did, even if he went down with it.

Rainstar - Female - 80 moons - talking to Orchardkit
Rainstar sat solemnly nearby as cats approached to pay respect and say goodbye to their clanmate. A soft, warbly voice approached her, catching her attention. "Of course, what is it." She meowed gently, brushing her tail against Orchardkit.

Bearkit - Male - 2 moons - with Spottedkit and Vinekit
Bearkit shuffled his paws and looked up at Spottedkit. "You miss her lots huh."

The growl only worsened an he lashed his tail from side to side, "Careful mousebrain, if I didn't need you to get Fawntep back to the camp, I'd flay you where you stand." He glared at the older she-cat menacingly as she spoke down to him but knew that with the state he was in, there would be no flaying any time soon. Instead, he kept his head low until a familiar voice sounded esie him. "I'm fine Petalflower. Just give me some space," he snapped a little too harshly, still aggravated with the way everything turned out.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah," Emberpaw rolled his eyes glumly and he frowned at the sightless tom who looked only too pleased to be approached by him. he didn't take it all that personally however as he was fairly certain that Icepaw acted this way to everyone regardless of who they were. Instead, he flicked his tail in annoyance, "You should be happy that I even notice you in the first place. Everybody else here thinks you'd claw their ears off if they approached you."

The tom listened to Poppypaw and Snowpaw talk about the Marshclan's elder and he sat silent with a tail curled around is paws. After Emberpaw left the den, he hadn't wanted to say a word but that was fine since he was fine with just listening. The story of the gator made his fur stand on end and he realized just how quickly he didn't ever want to come face to face with a monster like that. He began to purr quietly, his eyes drooping as he hadn't had much sleep but he still managed to stay awake.

"Not with the state you're in." she chuckled, going faster and finally making it to camp. She gently set Fawnstep down in the medicine cat den.

Alarmed she leaned forward, eyes trained on the warrior's side and let out a relieved sigh as she saw Fawnstep breathe. "Is she going to be alright?" she asked, staring intently at Bluefeather.

Gatorfoot - Male - 134 moons
He groomed Whitemuzzle's pelt clean of blood and smoothed her fur out. Stepping back, he gazed at her body. If he didn't know better he could almost think she was just sleeping. Gatorfoot sighed as he remembered that they had to bury her tomorrow. She was dead after all.

Rainstar - Female - 80 moons - talking to Orchardkit
"Of course you can. It's customary for those close to the dead to sit vigil for them throughout the night." Rainstar's eyes were filled with sympathy. "And there are still cats who care about you here. I do. And I see you've gotten very close to Coalkit in the short time he's been with us. You aren't alone."

Bearkit shuffled his paws and looked up at Spottedkit. "You miss her lots huh." He liked Whitemuzzle - she used to come and play with the kits and tell them stories, but he didn't feel all that attached to her. It was weird knowing that she wouldn't be around anymore though.

He woke up and walked out, walking over to Orchardkit "Orchardkit, she wants you to know that she thought of you as she would her own kit." he said softly. Whitemuzzle had wanted him to let her know, and she would tell him many other times to tell Orchardkit things.

Mildtail made it to the medicine cat den in a matter of seconds when she spotted Bluefeather walk in with Fawnstep, followed by Venomfang. Instantly, she didn't need to be told what happened to know that the badger had done this. And it didn't take long for her to sort out all of the herbs she would need to tend to the sleeping she-cats wounds.
