Would he say he's in L-O-V-E? Well, if it was me, then I would (I would)...

You and three other girls are friends with a famous singer named Maria Lopez, who is also friends with a very well-known band (as well as one of your favorite bands), 5 Seconds of Summer. One day, she requests that you go on a blind date that she wants to set up, seeing that it has been a while since you have seen anyone and haven't had much luck finding someone on your own. You're reluctant, but agree to go on this date. Little did you know that the boy Maria is setting you up with is one of the boys. Of course, when you find this out, you're surprised - and the two of you seem to hit it off well. But...only as friends. In fact, you think of the boy as a brother more than you do a lover. One day, they introduce you to the rest of the boys, and it appears that you have caught the attention of one of them. Of course, you hang out with them and agree to go on a date, but your new friend seems to be reluctant to allow you to date his bandmate. He gets very protective of you...so, what will happen? Will you fall in love with your friend's bandmate, or perhaps with your friend? Or, will things get even more complicated when another one of the boys gets involved in the mix?

Would he hold you when you're feeling low? Baby, you should know, that I would (I would)...

This should be obvious, though. Please make sure you have reviewed all of these rules before joining this roleplay. If you haven't, you can find them here.

Characters
You may make 3 characters - one must be a boy, one must be a girl, and the third may be whichever gender you please (this is subject to change based upon how long it takes for spots to be filled). If you have issues with playing one gender or the other, PM me and I will possibly make exceptions. If you want to play more than one character and are capable of playing both genders, however, please don't try to ask to play only one gender. You don't have to play two or three characters if you would rather play just one, I am completely fine with that and am not forcing anyone to take on more roles than they would like to. c: No Mary Sues/Gary Stus. No one is perfect, they should be realistic. This means, they will have not only their strong points, but also their flaws. Characters should also be realistic - no real person has super powers, or something along those lines. The character age limit for this RP is between 18 - 21.

Use "Fades to Black" or "Timeskip."
I'd prefer if "things" didn't happen, but if they do, please use "fades to black" or "time skip." The same rule applies to violence and gore, if it gets to that point. Remember, there are kids on this site; we don't want them reading inappropriate things.

Language
No cussing, even if it's starred out. Period. Things like crap, freaking, etc., are okay, however. But we all know that CS rules prohibit cursing, due to the fact that there are children on this site.

Respect all other players.
This should be self-explanatory, but basically, this means be nice, don't start fights in ooc, don't exclude anyone, and if someone needs a recap, please give them one - or at least say you just don't know. But don't ignore them. And please don't get into fights here! If you have a problem with someone, please take it to PM's to sort things out, or let me know.

No one likes it when you control their characters, or don't give them a chance to react.

Romance and drama
Both of these are allowed and strongly encouraged, as long as it follows CS rules. If the event is something major with drama, make sure it's okay with those you are RPing with before you actually do it. However, it shouldn't be multiple 1x1's combined into a group RP. Yes, romance is one of the main focuses of this RP, but interact with more than just the person your character ends up dating, please. c: One final thing - please stay with your allocated couple! It would not be fair for you to sign up as Ashton's girl, then end up with Luke, or as Calum's girl, then end up with Michael. Remember, the pairs set up on the blind dates are supposed to end up being friends, as well, and there can be drama and love triangles (or even love squares), but all characters should end up with their allocated matches (Luke's girl with Luke, Michael's girl with Michael, etc.).

Activity
Please be active if you join. So many of my RP's have died quickly due to a lack of participation of the members. So, that being said, please let me know if you will be absent for some reason - if you're inactive for a week without notice, you'll have to be kicked out so that someone else may join. However, if, for some reason, you couldn't let me know and were absent for a while, I will let you back in, given the spot isn't taken by someone else.

Reservations/accepting
Please PM me reserves. I will only hold reserves for 1 day, or 24 hours, in other words. If you need more time than this - for a good, legitimate reason - just let me know, and I will give you an extension. (: Just because you reserved a spot does not mean you will automatically be accepted! But, if you follow the rules, you should be just fine. =^.^=

Literacy/grammar/etc.
This roleplay is semi-lit - in my terms, that means 5 sentences minimum per post (per character), though even more lines than that are certainly always welcome here, if you wish. (: Writer's block is understandable, on occasion - we all get it sometimes. Don't use this excuse for most of your posts, though! In addition, please use proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling - it is understandable to make a mistake here and there, though (everyone has done it). A little bit of text talk is also allowed in ooc (as long as people can actually understand what you're saying...things like the occasional, "lol," or "omg"), or if your characters are texting someone - otherwise, please refrain from using it, as it can be difficult to understand.

Forms
Please use your own form, if you can. I'd like to see your creativity! Please make them descriptive (keep in mind, this is what will show me that you meet the requirements for literacy)! This means, no RP it outs (this includes "they don't like to talk about their history," "Meet (name here) and you'll find out," etc. If you do this, I will not accept. All elements should be filled in with actual information). And please post a picture, if you can - no anime/drawings! Forms for the boys are not completely necessary, though you may make one for them, if you like. Finally, please post forms on the form thread!

Kay looked at herself in the wooden floor mirror, its frame painted black and polished. She scanned her outfit in the mirror and nervously smoothed out the white skirt of the dress. She bit her lip, hoping she looked alright for a blind date - hopefully not too casual, but also not too fancy. She delicately ran a hand through her brown and blonde hair, which was currently styled in bouncy curls that framed the girl's pale face. How did Jessica convince her to even go on a blind date? The girl was so awkward and shy - she felt like she wouldn't even know what to say unless her date spoke to her, honestly. She tried not to dwell on the thought, and tried to look at the positive side of things - maybe the date wouldn't be so bad, after all, and she was worrying for absolutely nothing. Her thoughts soon wandered to her date - who was he? What did he look like? What was his name? She had no idea - obviously, not even a name - who he was. She would admit, she was very curious to find out - but also scared to. She finally grabbed her purse, walked out of her room, and headed downstairs. She stepped out onto the front porch and quickly headed towards her car. She was starting to freak out, internally. What if this was a huge mistake? What if she messed up and totally ruined the evening, or something? Doubt started to swirl around her mind so quickly that it almost made her dizzy, for a moment. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes for a moment, then shook her head. Opening her eyes, she started the car, pulled out of the driveway, then drove off. She felt like she was acting silly - yet, she just couldn't help but be nervous about the whole ordeal. Relax, Kay...stop freaking out, everything will be fine - it will only go bad if you make it bad, she thought to herself, trying to convince herself to calm down and that everything would be alright. After all, at least if she wasn't freaking out the entire time, things would most likely go better...right?

calum had been awake for hours, not to sugar coat anything. his nerves were buzzing and he simply didn't know how to calm the unsettling feeling in the bottom of his gut - he never favored dates of any sort. yet, as the sun peaked over the horizon and flooded his apartments window, he felt as though he was going to be quite sick. the male slapped a hand over his face, rolling over onto his back upon his mattress while his covers entangled into his legs. the nineteen year old gave a small sigh as he heaved himself off of his bed, his feet connecting with his carpet as he squinted at the wall, thoughts overloading his brain. he didn't know how this whole thing would go - all he knew is that it was with a girl at a small, local cafe. cal was thankful for the casual setting, he wouldn't have liked to be caught with his flimsy limbs in a fancy restaurant. so, he made his way into the washroom just a door down the hall, presuming his morning routine of trying to wake himself up. he repeatedly splashed chilled water onto his face, brushed his teeth a total of two times, and had a personal prep talk consisting of many 'you got this hood!' and 'don't mess this up!''s. feeling just a tad bit more confident in himself, the man trudged down the stairs, only to be hit with silence and the few hums of passing cars, but made his way into the small kitchenette without hesitation. he turned on the heat for the stove, setting a kettle on the front panel filled with water. calum then got out a small mug, placing a tea bag into the ceramic and getting the milk out from the fridge. with a small sigh, the boy leaned against the counter top, unlocking his phone from the wall and scrolling through his crowded social media pages. with a mere five minutes later, a high pitched whistle filled the room and cal carefully poured the steaming water into the mug, adding a small slab of milk and honey just for flavor. though, as he waited for the beverage to cool, the nineteen year old retraced his steps back into his room - facing his closet with a glare. it was a casual event, but he also wanted to slightly impress. so calum rung his hands through the several band shirts littering his clothes, and with a final decision, pulled out a green day shirt without any rips. grinning at his decision, the male slipped off his loose pajama shirt, pulling on the new selection along with plain black skinny jeans. he then, more or less, skipped back down the hall and into the kitchen area, sipping on warm drink with a slight sense of nerves. he may embarrass himself with this date - but at least he looked good! calum chuckled at his own joke, placing the cup into the sink to wash later on that day and rummaged around his crowded apartment to find his wallet and vans. it was a total of ten minutes later before calum was ready to set off - hair styled, money in his pocket, phone in hand and shoes on his feet. he quickly locked the door behind himself and started the short walk to the cafe, stopping only once for a fan out of politeness. he only hoped that he wasn't late, he didn't even know who we was looking for! so, simply, cal stepped into the air conditioned setting for the blind date, and took a seat at the back with butterflies in his stomach.

violet was awoken by the loud beeping of her alarm clock set on her bedside table, a groan escaping past her lips as she popped her head out from the warm black covers. why she had set an alarm this early - she didn't know. the female opened her eyes, but was quick to retract the action as the sun blasted through the open blinds, her nose scrunching up in protest. with a blind hand, vi reached out and shut off the machine that had rudely disturbed her slumber - but she was fully awake, there was no chance that she could possibly fall back asleep. with a final yawn, the nineteen year old kicked off the comforter, her back arching off of the mattress with a sickening crack, she cringed at the sound. it took a few minutes of self motivating speeches before violet was able to slip out of bed, padding lazily into the connecting washroom. she wasn't fond of looking into the mirror - she knew that she wasn't a morning person, her reflection would only worry her. so she simply ran the cold water, cupping her hands and splashing her face a few times before drying her skin with a towel off the rack. she had a decent apartment; as long as it had a kitchen and a bedroom with a decent rent, it was fine with her. the girl then reached up to her blue dyed hair, pulling out the hairband and setting it on her wrist. violet had her blind date today, which she was quite excited for, since she trusted maria with her relationship status. with a plan in mind, vi started to brush her hair - having taken a shower before bed last night, there was no point in taking one now. that task alone took around ten minutes, whimpering under her breath every time she found a knot or tangle. her hair was now set at a side part, somewhat in her face and was spread on both shoulders. she honestly couldn't be bothered as much, she was going to wear a beanie, anyways. the girl then traced a small line on her top and bottom lid with liquid black eyeliner, her lashes curly lightly with mascara, she never favored bathing her face in make up. the nineteen year old then retraced her steps into the bedroom area, rummaging through her draws and closet before settling on black skinny jeans, a pierce the veil shirt, a black beanie, and simple black vans. violet finally crossed the living area and into the kitchen, pulling out a chocolate granola bar and munching on it in silence, throwing the wrapper away. now placing her wallet off the counter and into her back left pocket, and her phone off the wall charger, violet quickly pressed the home button to check for notifications. she wasn't that popular with social media, just an instagram account and that was it. vi stuffed the contraption into her back right pocket before hanging her keys onto her front belt loops, locking the door before heading out. the female was avoiding the sun, staying under the shade as her gaze was tracing the cracks on the concrete, tuning out the hum of distant conversations with other pedestrians.

honestly, jade had no idea why she had even agreed to go on a blind date. she knew nothing about the guy she would be going on the date with. for all she knew, he could be an axe murderer. okay, maybe that was a bit of an exaggeration, jessica would never set her up on a date where she could get killed on. but she had no idea who this guy was. not a name. not even the first letter of his name. the only thing she knew was where the date was taking place. she breathed a sigh nervously, glancing at herself in the full body mirror which sat in her room collecting dust. she never cleaned it, as she never found a reason to. she had chosen to wear a skirt that was a little darker than royal blue, along with a denim vest, that she buttoned up mostly all the way, leaving out the very top button. her hair was curled so it cascaded down her back in loose curls. she had pulled a few pieces of hair from the front to the back, pinning it in place with a small black bow. a pair of black high-top converse adorned her feet, while her black rimmed ray bans glasses sat on her face. she didn't like wearing glasses, and she usually wore contacts, but she had lost her contacts and was waiting for her new pair to arrive at her eye doctor. finally, she decided she looked alright to go out for the date, so she grabbed her phone and walked outside to her black kia optima, getting in the driver's seat and mentally preparing herself to just start driving. what was the worst that could happen? maybe just something as silly as the date doesn't go very well. it didn't matter, she wouldn't die on this date. at least she hoped she wouldn't. when she figured she was ready, she started the car and started driving. jade drove pretty quickly, taking the quickest route to the cafe, so that she wouldn't be late for meeting her blind date. that was the last thing she wanted. it would make a bad first impression, and she didn't want whoever it was she was meeting to think that she was late all the time. she was about five minutes early, which was fine with her. she parked her car in the small lot that was available to the customers of the cafe. she took a deep breath to ready herself to go inside. she didn't know who she was meeting, but she had to at least give the guy a chance, and if it didn't work out after that, oh well. as she walked inside, she saw that everyone inside was with another person. except for one guy, who was alone. she assumed that was the guy she was meeting, so she quickly ran a hand through the ends of her hair, wanting to make sure it was presentable, though it was exactly necessary because she had curled it. after she had finished fixing her hair, she walked over to where the boy was, not recognizing him until she got close enough to see his face. that was probably because she was pretty much blind, even with her glasses sitting on her face. once she was close enough, she saw that it was calum hood, from 5 seconds of summer. she was going to apologize for bothering him, but then realization struck her. he was the person who she was meeting for her blind date. it took her a second to remember she had to introduce herself to him. "hey, i'm jade."

luke found himself pacing around the room, feeling quite nervous about this blind date his friend had set him up with. he can't talk to a girl when he is out drunk partying with the lads, so how will he possibly manage to do it sober? he looked in the small wardrobe for the fourth time, figuring out what to wear. he didn't exactly want to look too punk, but he wasn't one to dress up in casual clothes like zac efron or something. he found his two black skinny jeans, wondering if he should wear the ones with holes in or not. tugging on the lip piercing with his top teeth, he went with the ripped jeans. he decided to go with a muscle tee saying "you complete mess". apparently all his fans love it on him. he ran into the bathroom to have a quick shower and brush his teeth. after doing all that, with the towel wrapped around his waist, luke began looking into the mirror his eyes squinted, then quickly looked away. "today is not the day to be conscious." he mumbled, and began to get changed and sprayed deodorant and cologne on himself. he put his shoes on quickly and grabbed his phone, not going for a banana because he was about to go out with a person he doesn't even know and the nerves were filling enough for him. he sat against the door for a moment, thinking of all the possible things that could go wrong on this date. he put his head in his hands, breathing in and out. he then looked in between his fingers, and decided to man up and stand up. he reached the car-keys on the hook beside the door, and stepped outside. he took a deep breath of the fresh air, then kicked the door with his foot to close it. unlocking the car and stepping into it, he put a little bit of blink 182 on until he reached the park. tapping his fingers to the beat of the song until it ended, he stepped out and walked up to the bench, noticing a few fans come up to him. "i'll take a picture, but please don't tell anyone i'm here guys. ok?" he asked them politely, hoping they would stick to their promise. he posed with them and they ran off giggling, luke chuckling a little bit himself and sat on the bench. he hoped he was at the right park, as he looked at his phone again for a text from maria saying where the meeting point is. bench by car park. that's this one, right? he tried to keep all the negative thoughts out of his head and rest his head on his knuckles. know he just waits.

calum kept his chin tilted downwards, fiddling with his thumbs so he wouldn't exactly be recognized. the last thing he wanted was a mob of teenage girls pressed against the windows asking for pictures and screaming his name - he needed a break sometimes. he always enjoys a nice, small chat with the fans - but now wasn't exactly the time for something such as that. so when a voice interrupted his dramatic thoughts, the nineteen year old was quite surprised to say the least. scenarios and assumptions rushed into his head at this point in time, sinking his teeth into his bottom lip as cal quickly lifted his head. he was expecting squealing of some sort, someone asking for a picture but it was a simple greeting. the cafe didn't have waitresses, he knew that, so, with slightly widened eyes, the male concluded that this was his blind date. quite literally, calum would've laughed aloud at his own joke, because, well, no one was ever there to appreciate his jokes - but he kept quiet. he simply grinned, gesturing with his left hand to the seat in front of him smoothly, tilting his head lightly to the side. "hey, i'm calum - and i suppose you're my blind date?" it was a risky question; if it was not in fact his blind date, many outcomes would come from that. one, he totally just embarrassed himself - and two, word would get out and rumors would fly. but, instead of worrying too much, the musician took this time to study the female - she looked just as nervous as he did. this made him feel slightly more confident, knowing they both felt the same way about this whole situation. appearance wise; she seemed quite enjoyable, cute, if he were to be honest. overall though, he had the feeling that this was going to go alright, he was still slightly nervous, but he'd get over it in a few minutes, he was sure. finally, cal replaced his grin with a smaller hint of a smile - not wanting to look stressed or having to force on excitement.
