She led the way into the forest, keeping her senses alert for any signs of prey. A faint rustling in the nearby ferns caught her attention, and she dropped into a hunter's crouch. Sandshadow stalked forward, putting all her weight to her haunches to make sure her paws didn't make the ground vibrate. When she was only a tail-length away, Sandshadow sprang, her paws landing on the little mouse that was hidden underneath the ferns. She buried her kill and pressed on.

"Nice catch," he meowed indifferently. Bloodmoon felt a tingle of satisfaction when he saw the she-cat's fur bristling in response. Ignoring her, the black cat carefully picked his way among the undergrowth until he scented a sparrow. He glanced at Whitepaw, deciding to let the apprentice catch this one; he wasn't in the mood to climb up a tree after his prey.

Silent and Rose Bullet could smell cat, but the scent of cat was all around so they didn't bother to lift their muzzles toward the smell.

Brindleleaf got to her paws, padding off into the forest in search of catchweed. As the medicine cat walked, she came across the scent of strange cats. Growling, the brindled tabby followed the scent.

Silent licked Rose Bullet's pad hoping that it wasn't infected.

Rose Bullet winced as she licked her still sore pad.

Brindleleaf spotted a black she-cat and a pale tabby kit-aged cat. "What are you lot doing on ColdClan territory?" The medicine cat growled, the scent of herbs on her paws. Her claws slid out in anger, her short fur bristling as her ears splayed back against her skull.

Rose Bullet went to get to her paws, but Silent pushed her down, and mewed "I'm Silent, and this is my companion Rose Bullet". She kept her blue eyes on the she-cat, "We mean you no harm, but Rose Bullet's pads are sore and I think one is infected, but I already tried Marigold but maybe it wasn't fresh." she mewed looking down at Rose Bullet's cobweb covered pad.

Brindleleaf scowled. She looked at the two for a few moments. "I can't believe I'm doing this." the grumpy she-cat muttered to herself. "Alright, follow me." The dappled tabby ran back the way she'd came, leading the two towards camp, not caring how long they took to catch up.

Silent ran in front of Rose Bullet, while Rose Bullet kept up as good as a pace she could with 3 paws to run on.
