Can I get your opinions on this?
Is it just me, or is this event super hard?
Like, I don't think that w/o buying passes, it is nearly feasible at all to get Amira
is it just me?
The other ones, like the lottery, there was a (slim) chance you could get all five pieces
but like with the card games, if you got the right cards, you could win...
but with this, it seems impossible.

the amount of passes that would have to be spent to me seems astronomical ;w;

completely agree... it honestly seems sort of pointless to me if were not able to buy them atm, like why am i doing this? im askign myself everyday i login..

Of course it's impossible to do it without passes. Howrse just wants us all to spend a fortune buying passes, so we can get these stupid Legendary horses, which are pointless, not even that rare and a complete waste of money. Not to meantion the fact that there are lord knows how many different types of these "special" horses around these days. From Xanthos, to Jade, to Altair- there are so many of them now.

The lottery and card promos are the only promotions/events that are worth doing, because they're the only ones, when even if you do spend passes to get loads of cards/tickets, you still might not get the good stuff, and if you don't spend passes, then you could walk away with some awesome stuff.

Howrse is just stupid these days. The sad thing is, that people actually do buy lord only knows how many passes for these events. Because if they didn't then Howrse wouldn't keep on doing it. And the other sad thing is- it used to be such a great game....now....well..........................

Took the words right out of my mouth (off of my keyboard?) I might not have that much seniority right now but I used to play before and it was a lot better. And that is true, the lottery and card games are really the only good events because, passes or not, everyone has an equal chance of getting something good or bad. Even though some events have some decent items you can get without using passes, actually getting the legendary horse or divine is impossible without passes.

Howrse is a good game well mates ya see. Once you reach tour goal in howrse itxs your cjoice to set a new one or just make he game boring.


My sister got that donkey divine horse thing and I got a seal horse (Atlas is her name) but we still have fun even of we gor good horses and sruff like that jusr use your imagination.

Mate, you ask why do we still play? Well, maybe we have put years of work into Howrse? Some of us 6, 7 or even 8 years. That's a lot of time and a lot of work which was put in our games to just quit it like that. There are many players on here who have had to actually work their way up when Howrse was a site that encouraged that but now it's turned into a machine that only runs on money and that's what upsets so many players. Please don't try to bring other's opinions or emotions down with this ''why do you even play'' stuff. That's really insensitive and disrespectful.

I second Hollytails post. No one is forced to play howrse, no one is taking your money, no one is forced to love the pixels on our screens. Ranting/complaining about how things have changed does nothing but put a prick of poison into something that could be very positive. How about instead we all focus on the good things in howrse. For example, arent all the beautiful GA coats we can use just amazing?I cant get over how great some of them are.

Everyone has a choice in life. Embrace the negative or embrace the positive. Only you can make this choice.

(I have been on howrse for many years as well and fought hard for where I am in case you feel like I 'don't know what its like'. All it takes is one simple choice. I made my choice.)

@Dragongirl00100- Lol- not to mention the fact that the card games are actually quite fun, or at least i find them fun and they are certainly one of the best (if not the best) promotion that Howrse has come up with. Sometimes there are some good items that you can get without passes, but most of the time it's just the same old rubbish, that i already have a billion times, from all the previous events, when it was a lower tier prize.

@Hollytail- I play it because i do still enjoy it....to a certain extent and because i have put 7/8 years worth of effort into it and i do not want to see that all go to waste.

@Foxtrot55- Alas, not all of us agree there and we are well within our rights to complain about it. I will focus on the good things in Howrse, but one has to point out the bad as well. For nothing can be good without being bad. The GA coats are amazing- i've put so many into my favourite creations, that i just don't know which ones to use anymore- i can't pick just one! And i can't believe how far the GP and Skills has come since i started back in 07. Over 4000 GP on International, is just amazing! (Probably even higher, i haven't checked in a while.)

@Polly44- Even though I only ever participated in one card event (Probably cause of a gap of inactivity I had), I agree with you. They are fun and you can actually get some good stuff.

@Hollytail- I play it cause I enjoy it. Even though I haven't been playing as long as some others (barely remember the days with objectives, but I did see them at one point in time and I wish they weren't taken off), I still put a lot of time and work into the game to get where I am now. And I still have some goals to fulfill in Howrse, like winning a rosette and stuff, that I won't be able to do if I quit. Also, Howrse has been the closest I have ever gotten to fulfilling a real life dream, so it also has a bit of a personal connection (and I'm sure I'm not the only one who plays on Howrse and wishes they had a horse in real life)
