︽ ︽ ︽ ︽ ︽ ︽ Wren felt an extra pair of eyes on her and narrowed her own, scanning the forest behind Delgado. Her eyes weren't as strong as her other features, but they were still sharp. Try as she might, she couldn't find anything sneaking around and passed it off as her just being paranoid. What she could see were Delgado's eyes, taking her new appearance in. She self-consciously swept her tail around her body to distract herself. He muttered a quiet 'thanks' and the huntress nodded slightly. She wanted to inquire about his rank, to reaffirm her first assumption as a small victory for her detection, but the conversation was steered to Reed.
Delgado informed her he had been promoted to lead healer, and her eyes widened in shock. She smiled, though it was bittersweet. She shouldn't have to find out things like this from someone else. He should be there to tell her. "Wow. I'm so, soproud of him." The fae gushed. It was strong of him to openly go against their father and become a healer, rather than beta or even alpha. Distantly, she wondered if her father was still alive. Suddenly Wren's move went south, as she realized if she didn't know his situation, Reed couldn't know hers. Wren turned to Delgado, eyes pleading. "I know you can't give him a message for me due to the situation here... but could you at least let him know you've seen me around the Leukos? Just so he knows I'm still kicking?" Her voice was hopeful, though she knew it was a long shot. He could get in a lot of trouble if this was found out.
"I'm the lead hunter now." Wren said, reflecting on how excited she had been when she finally proved herself worthy of the rank. She refrained from telling him anything about her plans of the night. "And I assume your a fighter now?" She quirked a brow, eyeing the male's build and remembering his crashing paw steps. Mentally she scolded him for being so heavy footed, but it wasn't full of malice. When they were younger they'd often give each other pointers.

︽ ︽ ︽ ︽ ︽ ︽ Anthos gave one final look at Anastasia's retreating form before sighing and turning back to Holly. He noted the fighter's very short fuse, one that had set off in a spark and practically caught everything on fire. If looks could kill, Holly would be no more. "Feisty, that one." He commented, eyes shifting to the side. A small smile quirked at the corner of his mouth. He had pretended to be angry with her, just to remain respected. Really, it only made him chuckle to see her so fiery. "What'd you ever do to make her hate you so?" The words Ana spoke were fighting words, ones only said under deep irritation. Something must have happened.
Holly seemed to bounce back from the fight quickly and asked him if he wanted to swim. Anthos raised an eyebrow and was about to answer when it seemed he didn't have a choice. The fae dragged him to the river close to the territory, and he let her. If he didn't want to go he would easily dig his paws in the dirt and stay put, for he was much stronger than her. But he allowed himself to be dragged until they reached the river. It was relatively deep, reaching his neck and was a good spot for fishing. Sometimes the bears could be a problem, but other than that it was a good place to drink and catch food.
Anthos paused to take in the scenery, checking to see if anything was around, when the female shoved him into the river while he was preoccupied. He crashed through the icy surface and tumbled down to the bottom, where he paused a moment to take it in. He opened his eyes and peered around, seeing trout swim away from the sudden commotion. When he felt the oxygen in his lungs strain, the alpha popped back up to the surface, coughing. "How did I not see that coming." He laughed as he paddled to a rock to stand on.

︽ ︽ ︽ ︽ ︽ ︽ "I'm well." Amara answered, as bored as she was by small talk. "And how are you this morning?" She asked as she watch him dig up some form of root. Healing was never her specialty, it was obvious to any wolf that laid eyes on her. She was built for leading, fighting, and hunting; not for making pastes or gently putting a wolf back together. It wasn't that she wasn't intelligent, she was coldly so, holistic treatments simply bored her. If it wasn't in her line of duty, it did not interest her.

︽ ︽ ︽ ︽ ︽ ︽ Reed nodded. "Yep. It should keep the rash at bay...though you never know with nettles." He finished it off and stretched his paws with a wah-lah! Good as new. Or at least, good as slightly used. He stood up and swept up all his extra herbs with his tail, swiping it all out of his den to keep it nice and neat. Reed enjoyed everything orderly and tidy, which is why wolves often come to him for their ailments. As well as his skill, he kept a clean work space.
He noticed Accalia didn't seem too interested in all this, so he walked out of the den, slightly brushing his fur against hers as he wiggled out. Just by the slight contact he felt his stomach flutter, and he knew he had it bad. What started as a small crush was slowly turning into something more, at least on his end. Reed still wasn't quite sure how she felt about him. Judging by how nerdy he was being around her, he suspected she didn't find him to be rather dashing.
