i was talking to these girls in my ceramics class and the one girl was there, too, and the other one wasn't but she was like talking about how upset it made her when people say it was the wiz concert. like no. wiz opened for fall out boy. it was fall out boy's show. -3-

On another note...
How awful are 5SOS for stealing the intro to Sugar, We're Going Down and putting it in their song Social Casualty? Ok, its not exactly the same but still...Idk, I find thats terrible and they will forever be awful music stealers to me...

i have noticed that the fall out boy is very aggressive towards the 5sos fandom. if you don't like them, don't acknowledge them. they aren't my favorite band because there's other things i'd rather listen to, but they're musicians, too. and they are helping people in the same way that fall out boy is helping us. so please don't post hate on here. all love.

I think the main reason why our fandom is not the nicest to the 5SOS fandom is because of the song stealing. Im just really wondering why that isn't illegal??? Ill drop the subject now...

let's not throw shade, hm? just drop the situation and don't bring them up again. it makes our fandom look bad when we hate on others.
we're all here to support music, yeah? they have people who need them, and i know a lot of people who like both fall out boy and 5sos (including myself), and they're totally entitled to that... insulting them doesn't make any side better, so don't bring it up, please! ovo we're all about love, here. besides, this is the fall out boy thread. no sense in talking about other bands here, especially if it's a hateful reason and not one out of love. c;

i really love how energetic the songs and their instrumentals are!! Everytime a song from the new album comes on, i get super pumped. It's kind of sad how Pete doesnt sing solo anymore, but I think Patrick's vocal range has improved dramatically and it all ties into the energy that their newer songs give off.

what albums/songs are your favorite and why?: probably save rock n roll, because it was their last album before they kinda changed their sound </3 i really like old fall out boy and new fall out boy, because i realize that they grew up. the main reason for liking save rock n roll is that it was my crush, who introduced me to fall out boy, my chemical romance, and panic! at the disco. the whole emo trinity. i would not be alive if it wasn't for her. i love all the songs on the album, but currently "save rock n roll" the actual song, is my favorite. i love the line "you are what you love, not who loves you" because it defines me a lot, on a personal level.
what is your favorite thing about fall out boy?: i like how they sing for the outcasts, the kids who didn't make it <3 i love how they put lines like "sometimes the person you'd take bullet for is behind the trigger" and "i thought my love for you was bulletproof, but you're the one who shot me" oops that was pierce the veil because a lot of us outcasts have experienced that.
how/why did you get into fall out boy?: i got into fall out boy a couple weeks after "my songs know what you did in the dark" was released. i was basically just a shell at that point, but i really liked the song's tune. at maybe three weeks after it started playing on the radio, my friend/crush, Kai, introduced me to some of the older fall out boy. sugar we're going down & thanks for the memories were some of the firsts she showed me. i took a break from them, went back to the top 40's for awhile, then alone together/young volcanoes? came out, and my life started falling apart at that point, and i really got into the older ones like "this ain't a scene it's an arms race" especially since the part where it was like "all the boys the dance floor didn't love, and the girl's who's lips couldn't move fast enough, sing until your lungs give out" that really helped me during my time of depression, Kai moved away at that time and i was in a really bad place in my mind.
