Not my absolute favourite, but I did enjoy making this pet.
Timer completely off (no seriously, I started this picture 2 years ago... I finally found a reason to finish it.)

To swim or not to swim wrote:In an effort to expand our knowledge of the water as a whole, we put out our one and only floating analysis instrument to feed us information back to our computer. We noted a scaling temperature change in the water depending on how far out from the shore it is. We are guessing that the deeper we go, were we to do so, it may be life threatening for us non native lifeforms.
As for the herd, they seem quite content with the water. The young canter about in the shallows with one another, if they try to venture too far out an adult circles them and guides them back towards land. The adults themselves we have spotted going out in pairs or threes, paddling far then diving out of sight. If we can get enough data to the computer to assess the threat levels, we will allow one of us to go out in the diving equipment to observe the creatures and what they may be doing out of sight.
In the meantime, we decided to 'prepare' the shelled creature that we had witnessed the herd eating. Whether it has any edible properties for us.. we shall see. I definitely won't be the one trying it!
