Zver Fan Club

I've been thinking about dog sports a lot, so that's where this idea is coming from....

What if we had a thread for Zver sports? Like agility, lure coursing and personal protection kind of thing? Each event would have certain activities that your zver needs to do. You would do art of your zver competing in the event, either by drawing or writing about your zver's attempt, and then I would determine a score using a random number generator. Once your zver has accumulated enough points, it becomes titled in that event.

This is only the basics, I'm still working out the details, but would anyone be interested in something like this?

- More details, so I have somewhere to keep them xD:
- Each event would be scored separately, so a zver could be fully titled in personal protection and a novice in agility.
- All Zvers new to an event would have their scores chosen from 0-5, no matter what level they may be at in other events. Once that zver has accumulated 10 points at the novice level, it would be eligible but not required to compete at an intermediate level. Once the zver has accumulated 15 points, it can no longer compete at a novice level and must compete at intermediate. All events at an intermediate level award points from 10-30 per competition. Once a zver has accumulated 35 points, it would be eligible but not required to compete at an expert level. When the zver has reached 40 points, it can no longer compete at intermediate events and must participate in expert events if desired. Once a zver has accumulated 50 points in any given sport, that zver will be considered fully titled at that sport. Titled zvers can only seriously compete against other titled zvers, however they can be ran with an untitled zver for training purposes.



So the scoring per event done would be like this:
Novice: 0-5 pts
Intermediate: 10-30 pts
Expert: 35-50 pts

The events I'm considering are:
agility
lure coursing
dock diving
personal protection
search and rescue

You would not be required to keep track of what level your zver is at. I would be keeping track of that, and if this gets large enough, I can hire others to help me! If I want to compete with any of my zvers, I will have someone else determine the points for that event.
