Flint grunted, glaring at Featherstar as he padded to the edge of the clearing, sprawling himself out. I know I'm onto something with Moonpaw. Or I'm just overreacting. He mewed silently.

~Ravenstar - Dark Forest - Tags: Eclipsepaw~
Ravenstar tilted his head at Eclipse as he meowed, "Well.. when I was a kit I heard of all the cats that ruled the Clan. They had tried to rule all the cats there so I was interested in them. Later in my life, I found myself Leader. I wasn't the nicest.. certainly not.."
He stopped and picked out the right words as he continued, "I did kill some cat though. I killed the Deputy and the old Leader."

Moonpaw looked around, bored once more. She then realized she was hungry again. Getting up, she padded over to Claytail. "Claytail, can we go out and hunt?" She meowed.

Claytail nodded. "Sure, we can go hunting if you want..." He looked at the Rogues. "The others seem to have this under control now. We should be fine to go train. Speaking of, whom were you training with anyway?"

Eclipsepaw grinned. "Ah, so you DID kill some cats..." HE got up and brushed himself against his 'leader'. "So, how did it feel to take their lives? Obviously you liked it to some degree, because you wound up here, with me!" He laughed slightly, waving his white paw before playfully batting Ravenstar's tail. In a way, Eclipsepaw was still a young cat, despite his murderous tendencies. "So, could you help me get Flint alone?"

"I trained with Flint." She meowed and glanced over at the tom then back to her mentor. "And I beat him." She purred with a smile.
I'm just hungry again, I think I'm tired from all the training." She stretched then sat, licking her paw.

Claytail tensed slightly. "Don't train with Flint too much, that cat is a murderer..." He shook his head. "COme on, lets go hunt if you are hungry." He got up and walked out of the camp. "Well, we should try and teach you how first..."

Moonpaw followed him and frowned. "Murderer? How? He couldn't even beat me." She meowed. "And oh, right, I don't know how to hunt." She giggled

Claytail shook his head and smiled. "Well, be thankful for that small grace... The cat tried to kill both his mentor, and a kit." He looked into the forest. "And I bet you can hunt, you just don't realize it." He smiled. "Go on, try and find an animal."

Moonpawn looked surprised but put it out of her head. It was time for her to hunt, and she had to do well for her mentor. She sniffed around padding quietly over the soft, mossy forest floor. "I smell.. A rabbit.. A squirrel.. And something else.." She meowed then looked at Claytail. "Is it a bird?"

"Good," Claytail praised. "Now, which one are you going to go for? Think about what each one can do, and how each one might react," he purred softly, listening carefully. He knew each cat had their own natural way of hunting, and it was generally not a good idea to ty and change it, just improve it.

Glancing around, Moonpaw looked at the trees and the bushes, scenting the air. "Well, to get to the bird I'd have to climb a tree." She shook her head. "That would waste my energy, it could fly away before I got there." She thought about the squirrel. "The squirrel is similar, but it could simply jump to another tree." She flicked her ears, listening. "I'm going for the rabbit. It's also the closest" She looked at Claytail. "It can run and jump but if I sneak up on it, I'll be able to catch it easily."
