Flint shrugged as he suddenly mewed, "I just haven't been practicing lately."
He then launched himself towards the other apprentice, landing behind her and flailing his paws at Moonpaw. He had at least been practicing jumps because of rabbits.

~Ravenstar - Dark Forest - Tags: Moonpaw and Flint~
Ravenstar jumped awake, teleporting to Moonpaw's destination. Training, huh? But the other cat doesn't look like her mentor. It doesn't matter. He decided, slipping out from the undergrowth and standing beside a tree near the edge of the training hollow.
"Moonpaw, slip backwards and come out on the other end of the cat and pull his tail." Ravenstar ordered.

Moonpaw saw Flint launch himself at her and froze for a moment in surprise. She then heard Ravenstar and immediately listened. Crouching down, she half jumped, half slid back, dodging Flint. She saw his tail and bit, pulling him back and knocking him off balance.

Flint stood there, dazed as he got up quickly and kicked out his hind legs out at Moonpaw. At the same time, he turned around and pawed her down her flanks. How did she even react so fast? She was frozen and then she attacked. Weird. Flint thought.

Ravenstar narrowed his eyes at the black cat and realized Flint as he meowed to Moonpaw when the other apprentice kicked out their hind legs, "Duck down. Now dodge to the side and slide your paws out under their underbelly."
Ravenstar licked his paw and slid it down his ears and face as he watched the training session.

Moonpaw dropped to the ground instantly, narrowly missing Flint's attack. He's good, but not enough for me. She then darted to his side and reached under him, pawing at his belly.

Flint narrowed his eyes at Moonpaw as he stopped and mewed, "How do you do that? The first move.."
He was still surprised at her reflexes, dodging really quickly. She was a moon younger than him, there was no way she could do those things. She fights like a warrior already! But how? Flint thought.

Ravenstar dipped his head to Moonpaw and meowed, "I'm honored to guide you. This is your situation."
He then was back in the cave he had been in the Dark Forest. Out and out of the way of the real world.

When Flint wasn't looking, she looked out and saw Ravenstar. Hearing his comment, she smiled then turned back to Flint. "Guess I'm just a natural." She smiled, her fangs flashing. Something tells me he doesn't need to know about Ravenstar or the Dark Forest.

Eclipsepaw rolled his eyes and watched as Ravenstar rematerialized. "Wow, not even going to get her to kill that tom?" He asked. "It wouldn't be hard, especially if you are going to tell her what to do." He thought of materializing himself, maybe introducing himself. It would not be much of a surprise if he made himself visible to the two of them.

Flint didn't take his eyes off Moonpaw as he padded out of the training hollow and meowed, "You win, then."
He pelted into camp to see a group of rogues coming in. Those must be the rogues that we were surronding. He mewed quietly to himself as he padded to Featherstar. "I came back from a training session with Moonpaw. She's oddly good.." Flint meowed, glancing back in the direction of the clearing as he added, "She was frozen for a heartbeat and then attacked the next."

Ravenstar shrugged at the comment as he meowed, "You can kill him. Flint is harmless. I think you'd like him."
He glanced over at Eclipsepaw again as he sat down. "He tried to drown a kit and attacked his own mentor." Ravenstar meowed.

Eclipsepaw purred softly. "My sort of cat then!" He exclaimed, smiling maliciously. "MIght be more fun to mess with him for a bit then..." He yawned softly, as if killing him would just be boring now. "After all, he is more like me than he realizes!" He watched Ravenstar with slight interest. "How did you end up here? I've never seen you kill a single cat."

Moonpaw padded back to camp and watched Flint go to Featherstar. She saw the rogues walking in and sat nearby, watching them silently. I don't like this. Its not right.

~Featherstar~Tags: Claytail, Nightshade, Flint~Location: Camp~Mood: Alert~

Featherstar turned to Flint and observed him curiously. "I think she's good because Claytail trained her. As for the reaction, that's our instincts kicking in." She meowed. "It probably odd to you because you haven't trained in a while." She looked back towards the rogues entering the camp.
