Silver eyed her prey hungrily. She hadn't eaten in days due to the lack of herbivores. The creature tensed as she inched closer, and dash towards it. The hunted ran, into the open. Small, but good enough. Silver chased it down and cornered it between a large rock. The beast screeched in terror as Silver closed in. Suddenly, just before her killing blow, her feet were sinking. Quick sand! Silver struggled furiously, but nothing worked. The Carcharodontosaurus realized that the prey had gotten away, too. Great. Not only did she lose her prey, but now the sand got up to her neck. She had to act fast, but nothing useful was around her. Silver howled in terror and frustration as she struggled. She was swallowed whole by the sand.

Wind whistled through a warm, thick forest. Frill latched her talons into the bark of a large tree. She climbed up towards the summit of her soon-to-be runway. Once she reached the top, she glanced around , feeling the sunlight warm her feathers. The creature stretched out her wings, caught a gust of wind, and took flight. She swept down into the grove, maneuvering around trees, blending into the background. A grin grew on Frill's face and she landed in a small bush. She glanced out of the foliage to see more forest, and to hear the sounds of carnivorous dinosaurs. Frightened, she dug deep into the bush.

Silver just blasted in the future woot~}

Silver opened her eyes slowly. She wasn't hungry anymore. In fact, it felt like she never even been born. Silver stumbled to her feet, and sensed prey. Although she wasn't hungry, her stomach was empty. The beast followed the scent, which led her to a bush. Silver roared furiously, about to destroy the bush.

Frill blinked slowly, with a sense that she was in danger. A loud noise drew her to look out. The bush's branches surrounded her, but she climbed over them , trying to get out of the plant. She closed her eyes as she felt the breeze touch her once again, but instead of a clear forest to greet her, there was a large roaring dinosaur. Frill had never been more frightened.

Silver sniffed the creature with interest and thought for a moment. She had just realized that she wasn't home, but instead she was inside a forest, with trees even taller than her. This puny creature could possibly be useful, and after she finds a way to get back home, she can eat it.
"I won't hurt you," she growled, "I just want to know where I am, and... Help me get back home."

"Y-your in a forest, of c-course." Stammered out the small dinosaur, trying to be brave. "Where do live? I might know of it." She lunged to the top of the bush, to make herself look taller. Frill hoped the monstrous being would keep their promise.

[nightbeat]

"A forest? I live in one, but it's nowhere near as ugly or hot as this one." Silver replied, trying to remember the name of her home forest, "I believe it's called Predator Forest. The name usually lies, but right now too many pred--" Silver stopped in her tracks. She didn't want to scare the bird-like beast. If she said too many predators were there lately, then the creature wouldn't be much use.

Frill looked suspiciously at the large creature. "I haven't seen a forest like that, nor have I heard of one with that name." She began to ramble, forgetting that she was talking to not only a complete stranger, but a scary one as well, "You see, this forest is 'Leafy Forest'. How about I climb up this tree and look around from the top for your home?" She gestured to wards a tall tree beside her, and remembered her predicament. Gulping, she hoped to find this foreign forest, in fear that the creature may kill her if she doesn't.
