Grim shook his head. "We don't need fruit." He was hoping she had forgotten her first question. He sat down, examining his work closely. He was proud of himself, knowing very few intruders would brave the thorns to get at his small camp.

"But for health," She replied frowning. She looked at Grim through a hole in the wall, giggling. Scarlet wanted to have some fruit anyway, to taste it´s juicy, fresh flesh. To bite into something other then hard, dirty, cold and sometimes rotten animal. She wished to change some, only some diets in here. Maybe even change the way they ate? But, even though she was the leader´s mate, she didn´t have that much privilege. But she was a deputy, so she did have a bit more?

Grim rolled his eyes. "We're dogs, not deer. Fruit will make us sick, Scarlet. It's too strong for our stomachs." He shook his head and walked into the trees from where he was outside the wall, sniffing out the trail of a wild game bird.

[Canair]

Scarlet sighed, walking behind him. "At least let me find a foul smelling thing which we can use for defense?" She shook her head, shaking the flies away from her ears quickly. Scarlet mumbled to herself quietly, running to catch up with Grim quickly so she could continue her talking.

"We have foul smelling things. The rotted prey." His voice was calm, more calm than it usually was, which confused him. He lowered himself down, and spotted his prey in the distance.

[Canair]

Scarlet shrugged, flicking her tail. She smiled at Grim, licking his cheek before crouching down to catch the rabbit in the bush, that was unsuspecting of neither of them. Scarlet licked her lips, smiling.

Grim snarled fiercely as his bird took flight, and he lunged at it, only to get a mouthful of tail feathers. He didn't snap at Scarlet, though, only began to walk again, his nose to the ground and his ears pulled back.

[Canair]

Scarlet yelped, shaking the rabbit off her foot. It had clung to her, biting. "Grim!" She shouted angrily, rolling around, the rabbit gripping on to her tightly. Scarlet had no idea why the rabbit was even on her foot at all!
