Don't think that you can hide there in the shadows, girl, you're not invisible. You're all that I can see...
The classic girl on the corner and the boy down the street scenario. He's lived in the neighborhood for quite some time and knows his way around town like the back of his hand and knows practically everyone. She is the new girl to town, and is quite shy and quiet. She's quite "invisible", so to speak, and feels like no one pays attention to her. She feels quite lonely; she has never had many friends, and is always too shy to mingle. He notices her, and is quite intrigued by the girl. He decides to show the girl around town, in hopes of getting her to open up, as well as to get to know her better. She thinks he will just stop hanging out with her afterwards, and that he doesn't take notice of her much - just like everyone else. But can he show her that he actually takes a great interest in her, and would seem to only see her if she were to walk into a crowded room?

Will she value the article more, or her chance to find true love? Will he find out that he was just part of an experiment for an article?

This boy is a mess inside; for some reason or another, he seems to push himself away from pretty much everyone, with very few exceptions. He comes off as rude and angry, and often is alone, doing his own thing. She's very open and friendly, and can make friends with pretty much anyone and everyone. This is why it comes as a surprise - though should really not come as a surprise, at all - to everyone else when they see that he actually seems to, if nothing else, at least tolerates her. Actually, he acts like he doesn't care, or is just annoyed by her, but, really, he kind of likes her - though, he would never admit it. He just uses his bitterness to hide any positive emotions towards the girl. Will he let his negative emotions get in between them, or will they somehow get past that?
