She looked at Flowertail. "He died?" she asked. "How?" The female cat swished her tail and stared at Flowertail. "Or do you not know?" she asked and licked her paw. 'Cougar is mine!' she thought. 'But what if something happens to him? What would I do?'

The tom woke and scurried after Softberry. "Softberry!" he called and blinked his one open eye. "I need help. I have a bite on my face, and blood in my eyes. I can't open the left one at all!" he whinched in pain. "It hurts alot."

"That's amazing!" Crowpaw meowed. "I would never have been able to do that without Pricklenose's help." She parted her jaws and caught a whiff of prey nearby. She quickly spotted a small rodent just outside of its den. She tapped Tinypaw's shoulder with her tail and pointed it out. "Do you think you can catch that?" she whispered.

Flameclaw

Flameclaw decided he should have a medicine cat look at his head, "I'm going to see Softberry," he told Flowertail, glaring coldly at Summer. The orang tom turned around and padded towards the medicine den. His fur was plastered to his skin by a mix of rain and blood. He stepped into the den in time to hear Halfpaw tell Softberry about his eyes. The large tom sat down near the entrance to wait for Softberry to help the apprentice. Flameclaw would have settled for just licking his wounds but his lounge couldn't reach his head and the fur of his paw hurt the wounds when he rubbed them.

Flowertail full on glared at Summer. "That, is none of your business." She growled. Couldn't the she-cat not poke her nose into something she clearly didn't want to talk about. Besides, most cats here didn't speak of it. They just gave her looks of disgust. She hid her sadness with anger.

Whiteclaw

She went to a tree in the territory and saw something she was thinking it was prey so she quickly climed up the tree clawing at the prey looking thing to find out it was a cats tail. "Oh sorry.. It looked like prey .." She felt stupid.

Shee backed away. "Whatever..." she answers and sits behind Cougar. She silently watched the she-cat. Her blue bell ringed on her collar and she growled at it. The she-cat yawned and looked around the camp before focasing on Flowertail again.

He looked from Summer to Flowertail, feeling uncomfortable. Cougar noticed Summer sitting behind him and without looking at her, playfully tickled her nose with his tail and curled it over his paws like he hadn't done anything.

Softberry blinked and nodded, slipping into the back again and getting the herbs needed in her jaws, coming back out the medicine cat sat down in front of the apprentice and began to treat him. "What happened to you?" The thick furred molly asked, concern in her gaze.

She sneezed and shook her head. "Hey.." she purred and pawed at his back. "That made me sneeze!" she said and playfully nipped his ears. Yawning, she sat back down. "I am tired!" she meowed and sat next to Cougar.

Halfpaw»

"A loner got me," he answered quietly and winched as the juices flowed through his bite. "Will my eye be okay?" he asked concernedly. He tried to smile but he just couldn't with all the pain of the juices in his bite.

Softberry didn't answer and continued to work quietly, usually injuries in the eye like this were futile efforts but she could at least stop the infection. "I'll tell you straight - there's a chance you might not be able to see again. And there might be a chance that you'll be fine. Only time will tell, Halfpaw."
