Would anyone be interested in these guys if I were to make them into a species?
Their bodies serve as a prison for a demon and they carry their souls in lanterns. No two lanterns look alike. When they become emotionally unstable (angry, depressed, etc.) their souls become weaker and the demon is able to temporarily take over their body.
