Ford pinched the bridge of his nose between two fingers, looking tiredly up at Stan with the 'you're an idiot' look he wore far too often.
"I'm a sphinx, but *sigh*, that doesn't matter right now, Lee! Are the children okay? I heard Mabel yell" he frowned, looking around the gargoyle's wings to the floor above, tail twitching with impatience as he waited for his brother to move by him and, presumably, into the kitchen, as was the morning routine. He was worried about Stan, seeing as he was now a gargoyle now (what would that do to him?), but it was obvious that his twin needed some time to let the reality of the situation sink in. Besides, he didn't know if the children had changed or not... if he got upstairs quickly enough, he might be able to catch what was changing everyone, before they got to them, too, or before it got out of the shack! Once Stan's gigantic stone wings were out of the way of the stairway, Ford slipped by him and dashed up the rest of the steps towards the attic room, vaguely noting the flecks of stone on the floor that had chipped off of his brother on his way downstairs.
Ears twitching worriedly as he picked up little to no noise from the twins' bedroom as he approached it, Stanford cautiously knocked on the door, the sound of knuckles against wood being muffled slightly by his fur.
"Dipper, Mabel? Is everything alright in there...?" it occurred to him that maybe they weren't changed, and that nothing happened... they'd be startled at his appearance, surely, maybe even frightened. He unconsciously clasped his six fingered paws behind his back at the thought, then turned his attention back to the door, when it took a little longer than normal for one of the twins to get the door; usually it only took a few seconds, as Mabel was very energetic, and Dipper... he wasn't sure what was with his great nephew, but that kid seemed to always throw open the door and ask a flurry of questions about why he was there, when he was the one knocking. He wondered if the seemingly calm boy was ever like this to Stanley, as well.
He knocked again, calling a bit louder this time "Dipper, Mabel?"
