Okay guys, here it comes. I'm taking a very, very long hiatus from PS. Only bc it is sooo slow! Because of that, I can't really contribute, and not contributing just feels wrong to me. So, farewell for many months to come. Goodbye ♥

I know I just came back not too long ago and I haven't even made a litter. Truth to be told, I don't know if I can get one in before school starts. Just like last school year, I'll be going on hiatus until things can clear up. Please respect my decision, as I feel that leaving so suddenly after I've barely come back is not the best example of being a co-owner.

Regardless, I'm hoping to get a litter sent in before school starts on Monday. I should be back by next summer. Don't miss me too much! ~

Hey guys, so I've got a question for everyone.
Basically, with so many staff members leaving, I'm feeling a bit discouraged. The moment I take over again, I'll need to hire replacement staff/judge the forms already posted on the main thread, as well as get us stocked up on litters again (I believe Diamond mentioned having very few) and make our third and final Leaf PS event. Doesn't help that I recently found out that I'm moving back across the country in less than three weeks xD
So here's my question guys:
Should PS go on an extended hiatus starting Sept. 1st?
Having an extended hiatus simply means that all staff, not just me, gets a few months' break from making litters, etc. Both threads would be closed and no litters would be posted. Though PS would be inactive for awhile, when it's opened up again we'll have all kinds of new things- items, breeds, features, and that Leaf event will be ready when we open up the thread. Basically a better-than-ever PS! If you guys feel like my hiatus lasted too long and you want to start up the old thread again and such, I'll still be giving our remaining staff a break. I'm sure I'll find a way to run the thread by myself for a month or two x3

I'm going to add up a poll here on the fan club. Just vote for what you want: Extended hiatus + new things, or open up next month as originally planned. Feel free to give your opinion via post instead c: Which ever option has the highest amount of votes by the 25th will be the option we go with.

well, I voted for the extended hiatus, just because I would rather have you, and the rest of staff, get the break they need and have everyone fresh and rearing to go when it opens back up, than to have you feel overwhelmed or get exhausted running the shop yourself for a couple months! As much as I will miss it while it's down, I am sure it will be for the best, both for the shop and for staff!

I would love an extended hiatus,but it's your choice.And if you need help with finding staff I'd be happy to help but as I was saying it is your choice because their are tradeoffs of extending or keeping it open.

As much as I'd like to vote, I'm simply not going to. I do have mixed opinions on this. I'm sorry to say this but Dove, without you running PS, it's been pretty down lately. The thread quality has been minimized, and it would be nice to see you running the thread again. But... To be completely honest, I think we all need a break. Since you've been on hiatus, we also need some time to regroup and fill up your litter stash again. It'd be great to take this time and turn PS back into what it used to be. I also think that in this time, you can get the coding done for the Leaf Event, or pick new staff, so you won't be overwhelmed with work when we aren't on hiatus again.

Aside from that, safe travels Dove. Don't stress too much before you move back home ♥

I completely agree with Sushi ^-^ (Although I did vote for the extended hiatus, as I do believe that everyone needs a proper break because as Sushi said the thread hasveen pretty down ;-; I just think everyone is too tired and low on energy, and a good rest is needed.)

i have to voted for the extended hiatus. it seems we have been on one anyway but PS was always in the back of my mind. just hasn't been the same lately. i am looking forward to PS opening again but i want it to be like it used to be. I really enjoy being an artist for it ;w;
