Sagetail layed down in a nest in the Medicine Cats den. "I don't know. I was just walking to the fresh-kill pile to eat and then I slipped and now I can't even move my own leg!" She admitted, looking down at her right hind leg she glanced back up at Whiteleaf.
She winced in pain as a streak of blood came out but stopped again.

Moonpaw nodded then watched the forest fade. She jolted awake with a gasp. Was that only a dream? She got up shakily and padded out of the den, squinting her eyes from the light. Once her eyes adjusted, she looked around camp and noticed she hadn't been asleep for very long. She padded over to the fresh kill pile and grabbed a small mouse. Looking around, she padded to a bush and lay beside it, near enough to Claytail and the others to hear if she were to be called.

Ravenstar used all his strength as he was teleported to a bush. He slid into it and saw Moonpaw eating a mouse on the other side. He padded backwards but just enough distance for the apprentice to see him. "Moonpaw, you did great." Ravenstar meowed.
He padded closer to her and sat beside Moonpaw. "Have courage and confidence." He meowed, saying the last word a little louder.
Ravenstar was back in the Dark Forest. Slipping into a hole, he started to lick himself clean.

White leaf helped settle Sagetail into a nest before stepping back slightly to have a look at the elder. "Let me have a look here..." He mewed, bending to sniff at her hindleg. Resting his nose close to her hind leg, he felt a faint worth come from it, and it wasn't just the blood. "I think you just have stiff joints again Sagetail. Though you did step on a thorn as well," he mewed. Getting to work, he gently lapped at the sharp thorn until he was able to grasp it in his teeth and pulled it free with a sharp movement. Lapping his tongue over her pad a moment until the bleeding stopped, he then straightened, the thorn somewhere in the corner of his den where he would dispose if it later. Or have Ashenpaw do it. Either or. "That should do it. I'll just be a little cautious here..." He mewed before going back to his stores that he had just sorted. He comes back, limping awkwardly for cobwebs were wrapped around his paw and a few leaves and such were in his jaws. Returning to Sagetails side, he quickly chewed a Chervile root and licked it on her pad before then chewing the goldenrod into a poultice and licking that onto the inflamed area of her leg. He finished by binding the area in a light layer of cobwebs. "There! Do you want a poppyseed as well? Or are you alright?" He mews, turning his leaf green eyes towards the elder questioningly

Moonpaw perked her ears in surprise as she heard a cat nearby. She looked and saw Ravenstar. Oh Starclan, he's real. she thought in surprise. "Courage and confidence." She mewed softly under her breath. "Got it." She stared down at the mouse then finished it quietly.

Sagetail nodded and meowed, "What do Poppy Seeds help with?"
She had never really understood any of the herbs and if she did know, she would always forget. She stared at her paw as she flinched. The injury stung but not as much as it did when the herbs weren't on it.

Whiteleaf let out a soft purr, answering her question with ease. "Poppyseed's are used to help a cat sleep when they are in pain and also help alleviate their pain as well," he explained patiently. Sagetail's flinch hadn't gone unnoticed by him, and so he mews "I'll grab grad one for you. I doubt you will need more then that but just send an apprentice to tell me if you. That is, unless you would rather stay here for the rest of the day to rest?" He offered, already heading back towards his herb stores and grabbing a poppyhead carefully between his teeth. Carefully shaking one seed out, he picked it up between his teeth before heading back out. dropping it before the elder, he sat back on his haunches, waiting for her to lick it up.

Sagetail stared at the Poppy Seed and ate it carefully as she nodded her thanks. "I can stay here, there's nothing more I can really do in the camp. My limbs ache when I move." She meowed, dipping her head to the Medicine Cat. She padded into the den again and layed down in the nest she had been in, awkwardly letting her leg stick out. Sagetail licked her fur, resting her head on her paws after she was done.

Ashenpaw awoke as she heard movement from the nearby den. As was usual, her den was practically connected to Whiteleaf's. SHe yawned, wondering what was happening. When she finally roused herself completely, she walked out to find Whiteleaf. Ashenpaw was not really surprised to find an elder leaving the den. "Goon Sun-Up Whiteleaf..." She meowed quietly, not really wanting to disturb her mentor. She wished she had been awake when Sagetail had needed help.

Moonpaw licked her maw as she finished her mouse and looked around for something to do. She sighed and padded around camp, bored since she couldn't go on the patrol. These other cats, those rogues, had awful timing.
