It had been a week since Jessica had seen the doll. It would be a perfect present for her sister Aerin who collected antique dolls. Jessica had been questioning what to get her for weeks now but when she saw the doll in the antique store window she knew this would be perfect. It has blue glass eyes and wonderful long hair. When she walked into the shop and had a close look she gasped, she looked so real, like a human. Its plastic skin was warm which made her shiver. The worrying thing was the shopkeeper, who had a cold stare and a fake smile. Picking the doll up she carried her onto the till. As soon as she had paid she ran out the shop ripping at the price tag. As soon as she got home she put the doll into her cupboard and locked the door.

D E A T H S ~ S O N G

Azreal's talent, is something that may not seem so unique. Her talent is that of her song, a sweet yet eerie sound in the way she sings her song. Her song can very from sounding like a whisper to something like a mermaid. Azreal's song only at times can be almost hypnotic and alluring. Almost as if she is beckoning for you to come with her, to a better place. Sometimes Azreal's song though creepy can bring comfort around her, a comfort most can not explain and afterwords feel chills.

Azreal often sings to her Shadow, Nevermore. He was named after the poem written by Edger Alan Poe and one that she enjoys to read, when not reading poetry with her shadow she sings to him. This helps relax him and cool down his feathers if need be. Though he is protective of her, she tends to like his company more so then others at times. Nevermore seems to be the only one that ever truly enjoys her singing.

Azreal has always felt a deep connection when lost in her own song, in her own world. Its was always something to keep her mind off of other things around her as well. When focusing on her song, her worries tend to vanish if only for a moment, and she sometimes sings out of nervous habits. Though at times her song betrays her and can show what she is truly feeling.
