Pikachu Tournament went so-so for me, won/lost about half of the matches. Didn't see that many Pikachus being used though and I didn't use mine all the time, because it was too weak for some opponents (dreaming of more moves for Pikachu and a Mega XD).
I would love an option to avoid legendery teams in online battles as well, it's tiring to just give up all the time...

I saw them in almost every match but that was because I had low points. I purposely only entered for the chance at getting a pikachu event. I didn't have time to train a proper team so I just entered a lv 16 pikachu with the rest of my team being lv 1's. Funnily enough I got 2 wins and a "few" losses that were close matches. They were with others that didn't take it seriously but they still had a level advantage on me lol. XD

It was amusing to see teams take me seriously when they had lv 50's and I was using lv 1s (EX they actually set up on me instead of just taking me out right away). :T

My rank stayed around 1500 (went down and up). The pokemon I saw the most where Ampharos, Manectric (mostly either one of the Megas), Electivire, Eelektross, Heliolisk, Jolteon and Lanturn.
And sometimes Pikachu, Rotom, Emolga, Galvantula, Luxray, Pachirisu and Stunfisk.
Rarely Electrode, Electabuzz, Plusle, Minun, Dedenne, Zebstrika, Magneton and Magnezone.
Only once met someone who didn't train their pokemon to level 50. I fully trained my team: Ampharos, Electivire, Eelektross, Pikachu, Jolteon and Lanturn
Synchronoise, Hyper Voice and Earthquake mostly killed my team.
Wasn't it too boring to do so many matches without a proper team XD

I actually forced a lv 50 to switch because I put it to sleep and locked it's teammate into light screen lol.

I'm not completely sure if this counts, but in PBR, I managed to defeat Mysterial's positively BROKEN Kyogre with Pikachu.

First by having a partner (Infernape) use Fake Out to stop that Scarfed Water Spout, and then following up with Volt Tackle. It actually landed the KO! I know that Pikachu had a Light Ball equipped, but I forget where her Attack stat was...Either way I was ecstatic to have finally cleared that boss fight.

That's pretty amazing considering how pathetic and disgusting Pikachu is.

I finally found the mystery of the Unown! Once you've collected all 28 symbols, you unlock a secret message within the game, not within the Ruins of Alph, but within the game itself, sort of like the Pokedex Certificates. And you know what that message says? It says "[censored] you, Research Paper!" By the time you've caught all 28 of them, you realize you've wasted your time. The only thing you can draw from the Unown in Gen II and HG/SS is that Ruins of Alph are missing one letter, if you add the letter a to the end of the term, it becomes Ruins of Alpha, which would be a reference to the Alpha Pokemon, Arceus. This is reinforced by the in game Sinjoh Ruins event that can be caused either by the legitimately obtained movie Arceus, or an Arceus caught in the Hall of Origin.
