Featherstar nodded to Nightshade and flicked her ears to signal to her. She knew how well the dark fur warrior easily snuck around in the shadows.

Moonpaw saw the cats gather at the edge of camp and started padding towards them, clueless as to what was going on. "Claytail, are we going on a patrol?" She asked, confused.

~Flamekit~Tags: Open~Location: Forest~Mood: Tired~

Flamekit stared at the kits. "Who are you?" He asked. "You weren't born here." He meowed.

((Ooh moonpaw as a new target. Interesting:p )

Claytail turned to look at Moonpaw. "We found some rogues in the bushes. Stand back, I think they are going to try something..." His eyes were still closed, seeing the cats more by the minute noises they made than by seeing them. If they were not in the bush, this would have been harder. But even breathing disturbed the leaves slightly, making more noise than they would have standing in a field.

Flint backed up as he stood beside Moonpaw as his claws slid out. He saw a ear flick as he meowed silently to himself, This cat is hiding.
He glanced around at the cats gathered. "Shouldn't we do something more?" Flint murmured, perking his ears for any noises.

Moonpaw was surprised and backed away. She was also surprised Flint would stand beside her but she wanted some rest. Well, I should get some rest then. I'm of no use to them against rogues.. She thought to herself. "Find me when we go on patrol then." She mewed softly. "And stay safe." She turned and headed to the apprentice den. She was so tired but didn't realize it until she got into the dark den. Finding the moss nest she claimed, she curled up, closing her eyes.

Flint watched as Moonpaw felt as he nodded and glanced back, narrowing his eyes at the bushes but as he became bored, he sat down and curled his tail over his paws.

~Ravenstar - Tags: Moonpaw~
Ravenstar felt his ears twitch as he woke up, rising to his paws. He yawned and rubbed his eyes with a paw, realizing that it was because Moonpaw had started sleeping. He got quiet and summoned the apprentice into the Dark Forest as he meowed again as he did with Waningpaw, "Welcome, Moonpaw to the Dark Forest."
Ravenstar started swirling around the cat slowly, meowing, "Have you ever wanted to be more powerful than the other apprentices and be the Leader? To be the cat that has most knowledge and power?"
He started walking faster around Moonpaw, soon he was nothing but was wind as he smiled.

Claytail nodded at Moonpaw as she left. It made sense. He would have rather she seen this, but it was early, and these cats could overpower them, depending on how good they were at fighting. He didn't want Moonpaw to get hurt in a fight like this. She could end up like him with how little training she had.

Waningpaw looked up as Moonpaw entered the den. "Still early then..." He muttered, slowly drifting back into his deep sleep.

Moonpaw blinked and looked around. She was surprised to find herself in a dark forest. I've never dreamed of this before.. She thought. She then heard a voice, the voice of Ravenstar. "Dark Forest?" She asked, confused. "No, I haven't.. I mean.. I had always hoped to be the best warrior.." She meowed slowly.

Ravenstar stared at Moonpaw as he meowed, "You're in luck. I'll be your mentor at night and I'll train you until you become the Clan's best warrior. You'll be loyal to your Clan and you'll do your best to help them."
He stopped spinning around the apprentice and sat in front of her. "Best warrior." Ravenstar meowed in a taunting voice.

Moonpaw stared at Ravenstar as he halted in front of her. She appeared to be in a daze as she repeated him in a murmur. "Best warrior.." she breathed. "I'll help them." She looked at Ravenstar in confusion. "Who are you?"

Nightshade gave a faint dip of her head in understanding, silently slipping between the bushes. Her dark fur, training, and overall preference to the shadows made sneaking easy for her. She was named after the poisonous flower after all, as well as her ability to sneak through the shadows. The moment she had entered the darkness, the shadows seemed to reach for her, slowly enveloping her until she was basically unseen. Sneaking up on untrained cats would be easy.

Storm shook out her fur, sitting down again as she looked at the other kit. "Im Storm and this scary mouse is my sister Dawn," she mewed, looking over her shoulder at Dawn who finally offered a faint "hello" in greeting. The dark grey she-kit then looked back towards the other kit. "Who're you?"
