Flowertail was surprised by her apprentice's sharp nose. The long furred she-cat scented the air and picked up the scent, along with one of her clanmates. "Let's go- but don't get ahead of yourself, Halfpaw. We don't want to run into danger." She picked up her pace, following the scent.

He a flash of sympathy was in his eyes for a brief second as he looked at Flameclaw. He nodded to Summer and sighed.

The tom flinched as the she cats claws swiped his face. Growling he leaped at her, no longer outnumbered he felt more confident. "If you want a fight, her you go!" He yowled, attempting to claw at her face and bite her foreleg. Flameclaw was angry now, These cats come onto our territory, steal our prey, and try to fight! remembering his clanmates, Flameclaw hoped that they wouldn't be mad at him for engaging in a fight.

He growled and closed his eyes, taking deep breaths. He nudged Flameclaw away from Summer harshly, glaring at both of them with scolding eyes.

Lunging at Cougar, the tom grabbed hold and bit down on his soft ear. He growled and clawed his ears, after releasing with his teeth. Jumping away, the apprentice looked at his mentor, Flowertail. "Was that good?" he asked.

Summer»

The she-cat ducked away from the first attack, but felt thorn sharp teeth in her leg. Yowling, she tried shaking the tom off. As that didn't work, She bit onto his ear that was in her face. The soft skin let her teeth through and she pulled away, his teeth still in her leg.

He was mad now. He jumped at the apprentice, tearing his teeth hard into his face.

Flowertail dashed after her apprentice, who didn't heed her warning. She watched eith quiet horror as her apprentice attacked a huge tom, a stranger, that was probably as big as Pricklenose. "Halfpaw! I said not to get ahead of yourself!" Her stomach crawled with unease. This place set her off. It was so close to where he died... Suddenly Flowertail tackled into Cougar, screaming "Get off of him, rouge!" Her claws were merciless as she tore at his pelt.

He tore his claws across her face, hissing loudly as he got up, paying no attention to the blood on his pelt. They started it. Killed her family. I didn't even do anything! The little one just came after me for no reason. If only I could talk! he looked sad and finally sheathed his claws, remembering how his mother had treated him. It seemed like everyone hated loners. He was a loner for a reason!

He yowled pitifully and swiped at Cougar before baking away. The tom's gaze got blurry, from which he hoped was from the lack of sleep. The apprentice swiped once more at the cat before retreating to a nearby rock in pain.

She looked at the young tom eunning off. "Serves him right!" she hissed as She jumped on Flameclaw. She slashed at his ears and slid off of him, and swatted once more, clawing outstretched. She looked unsatisfied as she caught nothing but air.
