This guy is a tricky one. He has a faintly transparent belly due to the subtle transparency this beetle's shell extensions have, which I absolutely loved the second I laid my eyes on this specimen. Unfortunately I consider this another tortoise beetle species I couldn't really identify... I know he is from the chrysomelidae/cassidinae family and that's about it. While the flickr page where I found this photo listed this species as Acromis sp., I couldn't really find literally anything of this beetle because every single attempt to search it ended up with tons of results about an
Acronis software, which was really annoying and the reason why I suspect the information isn't correct. ¬¬' Anyway, I aimed a different transparency effect for this one, but I'm not very sure if it worked well. I just hope you'll enjoy it ^^'.
The pony's transparent designs make me think of blood. Give it a good background and you'll see what I mean.

This?

*shrugs* I don't know. I saw this beetle as well but its shell looks so different. Like I said, tortoise beetles can have so much variety and many subspecies, so I can't be certain and would rather call it undentified rather than make false assumptions.
It's not like it matters much anyway, what really matters is that you can see what beetle this design was based on.

The lone wanderer. So tired, so miserable.
All but a mere shadow of an once vibrant soul.
Cursed by fate, burdened by sorrow.
Sentenced to a life of nothing but loneliness...
It looks like not everyone deserves a happy ending, after all.

Well, this stinks. The second day this month that I didn't get a single outcome... That horse is beautiful.
Please do NOT send trades for my event tokens. I rarely trade tokens before I get all of the event items/pets that I want. When my tokens are for trade, I will put that in my trade posts on the trade threads. Thank you.

This month has been really spectacular.. the Beach horses and the tortoise beetle ponies are both stunning - the work Lillian that you have put into those ponies...amazing - really love them
the Cosmos Chickens are beautiful, and the hyena line edits to the dogs? very cool, and an obvious hit with everyone. the rats I think are also beautiful - the potato ratties are cute, so looking forward to seeing more of those <3

Though I'll point this out, I'm not breeding any of the Ghibli horses and ponies... I just can't see that happening, ever, because of their very specific theme. It doesn't feel right ^^'.
I think of it as a challenge to both of your exceptional abilities. But I do agree that the Ghibli horses need to stay in their true form, so no litter for these two. But you both are so talented!!!
And this beetle bugony just rocks my socks!!!!!!
