Ahhhh I have to jump in on agreement with you guys.
I fell in love with them over Spring Break, but my boyfriend has been in love with the band for years, so I've gradually grown to know them and understand them. Now I can share his distaste when people claim to love the band, but only because they heard "Tear in my Heart" on the radio and thought it was a cool song.
Like, sometimes you gotta squint and be like "Do you even know what the Clique is..?"

right. honestly, i didn't get into them until december last year, which is when i got into a lot of new music, because i was in a pretty dark place and stopped caring about impressing others and fitting in and found a taste in music that was and is true to myself. it's not about time; it's about dedication. i would never call myself a huge fan of a band unless i knew everything there is to know. yesterday i was in ceramics and my art teacher is super rad and plays an alternative radio in class. tear in my heart came on and i nearly peed myself, and these girls at my table were like, "i like this song." "yeah, this song came on and i was like, 'oh, hey, i love this song!'" and i was like ????? pls u kno nothin' i can smoke everyone HERE I WILL PERSONALLY AND PHYSICALLY FIGHT YOU ABOUT THIS.

I actually am a bit of a new fan, since early this year. I was first introduced to the song "car radio" by a friend of mine and I loved the style of music, so I spent quite a while going through a bun of their songs and albums and now they are placed as maybe my second favourite band <33

ode to sleep is one of my favorites, too, because the music is so spoopy. >:o
like i love the turns that music takes. i think it adds a really important and intriguing element to the song that wouldn't exist without that music. i dunno man. that song kinda says who twenty one pilots are.

Uggg school was awful today, but on the way home I listened to the entire Vessel album straight through so that's good <3

Also, the second episode in their mini video series should be out soon so something to look forward to <3
