Thistle nodded "True" she meowed turning to follow the young tom. She felt relieved when Venom stepped up beside her, Venom's pelt brushing against Thistle. The warm sand sunk between her paws, the scent of earth filling her nostrils.

Waspclaw shook his head slowly as he padded forward. "No, Dustspeck. I may not like the company of loners, but I am not calling you useless." He still thought it was funny that Dustspeck was so aggravated by this, though he kept that to himself. "I'm hesitant to let outsiders into the clan. We don't know what dangers they bring, or what they have to offer. We don't want a cat that would just use us for our food and shelter, correct?"

Sunpaw padded along in silence as they neared his home. The two strangers stopped speaking as well, and Sunpaw could practically feel the tension between the two. "We're almost there." Sunpaw murmured, breaking the silence. "Just... be on your best behavior, I guess." And with that, the tom slid into camp.

She started to walk to the falls waiting to see if any cat was coming. She called out to them all. "Hey who ever wants to come follow me I'm going to the falls!" She mewed and started to walk away.

Scorchstar nodded his angular, sleek head, murmuring with a little sigh, "I know you won't. I trust you to bring in this thief and for there not to be any fighting. Whoever it was that stole our food, please try to persuade them to come peacefully. I don't want another "Hawkcry and Snow" incident again, Troutsplash." With a duck of his head to the two warriors, testing the seasoned warrior would get the task done. He then turned back to Cobrasong, patiently mewing, "Now, where were we?"

Flarepaw - Apprentice of DesertClan - She-cat - 9 moons - Tags; Spottedpaw, Cactusfoot, and Noeyes.. then Mossleap and Snow (OPEN!)

Flarepaw visibly flinched at the Russian blue cat's reuquest, and could tell that Spottedpaw wasn't too pleased about Noeyes' orders as well. Guess we'll have to grin and bear it for now.. she must want to cause us misery. No doubt she knows it's raining and knows how hard it well be to get some moss.. Searching for ticks isn't that hard, but it's also the more messy job. Leave me to root through their pelts, huh, Spottedpaw?
Despite her slight frustration and nearly palpable dismay, the black oriental shorthair meowed, dipping her head to both of the eating elders, "Consider it done. I'll take care of the tick duty." She then squeezed out of the narrow den entrance and entered the Oasis, and now that she was out of the den, she let out a faint sigh. Indeed it was raining, but nothing too harsh. After all, the clan hardly ever received a downpour of rain, so even a little drizzle would be seen as blessing. Shaking her angular, sleek head and scattering rain drops from her short whiskers, Flarepaw broke into a fast trot, winding her way around the Oasis lake to Softberry's den. She could practically sell that mouse bile already.. ugh.. Darn it, Spottedpaw, gotta stick me with the worst task of the two. When the medicine cats' den came into sight, the black female sprinted towards it, ducking inside and shaking out her pelt rather loudly.
She saw Mossleap talking with the white rogue from last night, and the molly tensed as she locked eyes briefly with the rogue.. No wonder Scorchstar isn't allowing him to stay, by the way Mossleap's speaking to him.. He seems to be trouble! With her ebony pelt bristling slightly, she inched away from the pair and padded further into the den.
The leader's daughter meowed, "Softberry? Are you in here? I need some mousebile for the elders' ticks!"

The dark brute had to restrain himself from letting out a mild chuckle.. He had to admit, the long-legged, ebony apprentice looked rather amusing as he toppled to the ground, squeaking pitifully all the way. Hawkcry was tempted to ask, as Batpaw regained his footing and limped back to him, if he was done yet, if he was ready to yield, but the tom looked willing to try again. Not ready to give up, eh? Feisty, hard-headed, and a stubborn one.. All good traits for what is to come.
He also seems to be rather beat-up and exhausted.. all because I keep knocking him down. Poor Batpaw has to learn how vulnerable he really is to having a cat shunt him over - he has going hearing, but it isn't enough to save him with every fight. He's rather easy to trip with those long legs of his, but enough with making him fall and feel miserable for now.
Hawkcry dove forward then, stopping before the turqoise-eyed male and rearing up on his hind legs. Still balancing himself above Batpaw, he meowed, "Let's try something standing up. As you probably know, this move is for cats with strong legs, and you have them. rear up, then."

Noeyes - Elder of DesertClan - She-cat - 88 moons - Tags; Cactusfoot, Flarepaw, and Spottedpaw (OPEN!)

Noeyes purred mischievously around a hunk of hare as she heard the apprentices leave. She mumbled to Cactusfoot, who was eating his own meal, "Well, you're right about one thing, old friend.. They know how to treat their elders right. I do indeed love having young cats run about to do your bidding.."

Jackalhowl - Warrior of DesertClan - Tomcat - 34 moons - Tags; Mistcloud (OPEN!)

"Yeah.. Have fun, then," Jackalhowl murmured, turning away from the curly-furred, older warrior as he went on his way.. quickly slipping back into his normal, awkward, and miserably quiet self. He tucked his feathery, thick tail over his nose and curled up, mashing himself further into the brush to avoid the worst of the drizzle. Jackalhowl let out a little squeak as water dripped from the bush's branches and onto his head, and curled up tighter into a fidgeting ball. The multi-hued, muscular main coon didn't know who much he could take of this.. When would the rain end?

Dustspeck narrowed his eyes but nodded "Alright, true" he meowed, his tail flickering behind him. He glanced back at Wren who seemed to be ignoring their conversation. (WB )

Thistle and Venom slipped into camp behind him and said nothing, their eyes skimmed the cats in the camp and fear crept into their minds "Who are we going to talk to?" Thistle asked, her pelt bristling slightly.
