Flameclawtags; Summer, Cougar
Flameclaw faltered for a minute,
Mute? Poor cat, after fumbling for words for a moment he regained his composure. "That's too bad," he said in a not so friendly tone even though he really meant it, "What about you? You have a preference?" he asked, turning back to the she cat.

The she-cat growled. "I'll fight, and so will Cougar!" she hissed and leaped on the tom in front of her. She bit his ear before jumping off and sitting next to Cougar. Licking her paw, she glared at the clan-cat.

Swallowpaw locked eyes with Fallenpaw's. The she-cat knew she's easily loose- her fighting skills were terrible, and she knew it, too. The she-cat then launched herself at her opponent, hoping for the best.

She felt the cpaws scrape her skin. Yowling, she jumped into the water. Hissing, she climbed to the other side and watched the clan cat, eyes narrowed. "We just wanted to nap! Leave us be!" she hissed and turned to the direction she thought his camp was.

Flameclawtags; Summer, Cougar
Flameclaw hissed back, "If you didn't want a fight then why'd you attack? I gave you the option to leave!" He yowled across the water. He followed her gaze to the camp, "Stay away from there. Get off out territory and don't come back unless you have something to say that would prevent us from shredding you." Flameclaw growled and thought about chasing after the she cat, he still had to deal with the tom though. "What about you? You want a fight to?" he asked the larger tom.
He may be big but I'm trained, Flameclaw thought.

Batpaw felt a little bit of triumph at hearing a hiss from Hawkcry, but it still wasn't enough. He's too heavy for me to kick off his paws that way. With no momentum to back up my blow, he used his weight to stay on his paws, regardless of his previous injuries. Well, I suppose being large - even if you move slower - is a massive benefit. Much more of a benefit than I ever imagined. Lashing his long tail for balance, the ebony tom kept his namesake ears erect to their fullest height, listening for the heavy pawsteps that would betray Hawkcry's location while tensing his muscles, ready to attempt to dodge or countterack the next attack coming.
The petite tom heard the massive tom shift backwards, still gasping. Resisting the urge to strike, Batpaw narrowing his turquoise eyes again. Bring it, Hawkcry - I need to see what the most powerful of warriors can do, so one day I can defeat them. Heart hammering hard against his chest, fueled by adrenaline, Batpaw almost missed the growl. Almost. Crouching down low, he hear the pawsteps. At first, they stopped as if Hawkcry were lunging - but then, pain greeted his ankle. Your biting me?! In a spar match? Although it didn't draw blood and was completely acceptable, it hurt - let stepping on a thorn hurt. And, then there was the fact that he had somehow missed the split second to attack the massive cat. And to Batpaw, that was simply intolerable. Just as he was about to hiss, the praise came. The blind apprentice was quite surprised at the words - surprised into silence, but he shoved it away... for now. A good sign, but there is plenty of time for idle chat later - never talk on the battlefield unless important. A practice match should be treated like the real thing. Right now, I have to find a counterattack for Hawkcry's trick move, while still in his grasp. I am not heavy enough nor strong enough to shake him in this position - he knows that, and he is in his element. Grappling. But this also benefits me as well - I know exactly where he is, and if I use his momentum against him...
At the next roll, Batpaw slammed his paws hard into the dusty heart, twisting his paw slightly in Hawkcry's grasp due to the momentum - albeit a bit risky, but no risk no reward. Shifting his weight forward, with what he hoped was enough momentum, the ebony tom struck with perhaps his most reliable move. A simple paw strike, but instead of downward, upward. Swinging his paw against the side of Hawkcry's head near the jawline, tilting his wrist to make it more like a slap. I have to agitate Hawkcry 'till he releases my paw. If he doesn't release it now, then I'll have to kick him again.

Spottedpaw stiffened at the mere though, her golden eyes narrowing again. "So do I. All they are thinking about are themselves, and hindering our progress - think about the on that stole our prey this morning!" Shaking her head, the tall molly flicked her tail. I wish I could run into one of them so I can sink my claws into their mangy pelt. But, your interesting, Flarepaw - you told me the story of what happened with another rogue, how you talked with him before Batpaw flipped out. If you hated it so much, why did you chat? I don't know what was said, but still.... Hearing Flarepaw's last statement though, she nodded slightly with a little hum, snapping out of her thoughts temporarily. "You and me both. Him and the senior warriors are going to be stretched extremely thin over these next few sunsets," Spottedpaw said, cutting off as Flarepaw stopped and a horrible smell wafted across her nostrils. The tall molly stopped, watching Monkey pad out of the den and off into the camp with fish. It was a secret of Spottedpaw's that she hated fish, but it was hard to hide it now.
Nostrils flaring, the molly took a step back, her whiskers twitching erratically. "I actually wouldn't blame him this time. That thing reeks, great starclan, and it's another one of the rogues. Seriously?!" Spottedpaw mewed angrily before following after Flarepaw, gnashing her fangs. The apprentice caught wind of Cactusfoot's comment; at first her eyes widened, but then she just shook her head and lowered her lip back over her canines. We are in for it today, Flarepaw. But, Cactusfoot does have a point. Your punishment because of that tongue. After regaining her attitude, Spottedpaw straightened. "Good morning Noeyes, Cactusfoot. How are you feeling?"

Mistcloud noted the massive tom seemed rather uncomfortable with his presence. Probably because this obviously wasn't one of Jackalhowl's finest moments. Well, I'm here to try and get you out of this slump. We need our warriors prim and proper, now don't we? Whiskers twitching, the large tom nodded in agreement, before laying right there out in the rain. "Agreed, Jackalhowl. But I must admit, I'm enjoying the change in weather - I don't recall the last time it's been this cool." Smiling a tad bit wider, the curly coated cat yawned them. "Pardon me, still a bit out of it." Shaking his head and sending a smalls pray of droplets from his thick, curly pelt, the older warrior then licked his nose. Sparring in the isn't exactly the most appealing of ideas for a cat that hates water, nor is hunting. Still, it needs to be done. "Have any plans for the day?" Mistcloud questioned, his jade eyes fixated on the larger tom before him.

Snow watched as Mossleap made sure she kept a good distance, and began to impatiently tapping the tip and glaring about. I see why Scorchstar sent you. He believes that you'd efficiently drive me out within a reasonable time due to your impatience, and due to my 'poor' physical shape. Whiskers twitching in amusement as the conclusion was reached, the pearl tom glanced at Mossleap, before he did chuckle. A soft, honeyed chuckle just like his voice - that tone seemed to be the norm for him. "Why wouldn't I be?" the older cat's whiskers twitched, and he fixed his baby blue eyes upon the straightening Mossleap. He didn't fail to detect the hissing in her voice, but appeared not to notice to the naked eye. "Not all of us are rude, vicious monsters - some of us are just trying to survive." Like I. But, Icefang was right. I'll never live again. Snow let his words hang in the air for a second, before turning his gaze back outside. It was drizzling outside. Part of him wanted to just step outside and let the drizzle soak his bloodied pelt - the rain wasn't hard enough to clean it, but, Snow loved water. After all, it was the only consistent variable he knew. But, dancing in the rain in the middle of a camp I"m not supposed to be in will only make my mirage shatter. "Oh, I will, dear." No one will rush me, dear Mossleap - and handsome Hawkcry cannot stop me. Fitting nicknames I do believe. I wonder what else I can discover...
"Have any more questions for me?" Snow mewed softly, not angling his gaze from the beautiful spectacle outside. Then, feeling rather generous, the older tom mewed silently, "Someone might want to move the prey - wouldn't want it to get soiled." There are a bunch of cats at the pile currently, but no one is moving the prey. What are they doing then?

{Oh! Okay. :3}Scorchstar - Leader of DesertClan - Tomcat - 37 moons, 8 lives left - Tags; Cobrasong, Troutsplash, and Dovestrike (OPEN!) Scorchstar nodded his angular, sleek head, murmuring with a little sigh, "I know you won't. I trust you to bring in this thief and for there not to be any fighting. Whoever it was that stole our food, please try to persuade them to come peacefully. I don't want another "Hawkcry and Snow" incident again, Troutsplash." With a duck of his head to the two warriors, testing the seasoned warrior would get the task done. He then turned back to Cobrasong, patiently mewing, "Now, where were we?"Flarepaw - Apprentice of DesertClan - She-cat - 9 moons - Tags; Spottedpaw, Cactusfoot, and Noeyes (OPEN!) Flarepaw nodded at the truth in the hazel-eyed molly's words as they slid into the den, but didn't say anything more.. though she did find her friends' reaction to the fish-smell amusing. The ebony female didn't mind fish, but had a strong distaste for day-old fish, as any cat would.
As soon as they'd set foot inside, Noeyes meowed for them to enter, rather small ears flicking and face screwed up as she tried to establish who had arrived. Flare paw trotted over to Cactusfoot, gently laying the mice at his paws with a respectful nod. She knew how touchy the brown tabby could be, and it was best to get on his good side.. unless you wanted to have him spit at you. The large-eared she-cat pricked her ears as she backed away swimming her emerald eyes from Noeyes and Cactusfoot, who were both happily eating. She mewed, "Yes, how are you both? Anything that we can do for you two?"Hawkcry - Warrior of DesertClan - Tomcat - 20 moons - Tags; Batpaw (OPEN!) Hawkcry knew that his brief praise had surprised and flattered the male, and he respected the apprentice when he quickly seemed to forget about the praise and focus only on the fight. For a blind cat, the dark warrior thought, still with his jaws clamped around his paw lightly, he seems rather smart and seems to know what he's doing. I'll make a good warrior our of you yet.
The pale-blue-eyed brutes thoughts were interrupted when Batpaw slapped him in the jaw. nearby his healing ear wound. The mighty warrior resisted to urge to snap at him or growl, because the action hurt, but didn't hurt nearly enough to hinder the tabby. He released Batpaw's paw and meowed, darkly, cooly, creepily, "Nice try, but I know you can hit harder than that."
If he wanted me to release my hold on him, he's done that much, but now I need a countermove. With his massive paw's claws sheathed carefully, he raked a paw across the tom's huge ears. Then, while the blow still stunned him, stole a move of that white rogue's - he faked a slash at his blind eyes, knowing that even if he couldn't see, the movement would be slightly scary for him nonetheless. That old codger actually had some good moves.. for once, I'm happy I fought him.Noeyes - Elder of DesertClan - She-cat - 88 moons - Tags; Cactusfoot, Flarepaw, and Spottedpaw (OPEN!) Noeyes purred again, now knowing that Scorchstar's daughter, Flarepaw, and the slightly older apprentice, spotted paw were tending to them today. "Thank you both.. As for something for you both to do.. Maybe change my bedding? I'm not sure about Cactusfoot, but I've been sleeping in the same nest for what feels like moons. Maybe after you can search my pelt for ticks?" The Russian blue said, rather innocently, like any old female would request things. She then ducked her head and tucked into the lump hare, crouching down until her old bones creaked to dine.Jackalhowl - Warrior of DesertClan - Tomcat - 34 moons - Tags; Mistcloud (OPEN!) "N-normally, I would be out an about, too.. Don't get me wrong, I love cool days instead of hot ones, but when it starts to rain?" The massive main coon shuddered fearfully, still not meeting Mistcloud's stare. At his question if he had plans today, the mottled, yellow-green-eyed brute mewled, not nearly as nervous and shy around the slightly older warrior now, "Well.. I wanted to hunt, but with the sudden spin on the weather I'd rather stay in camp for today."

The she-cat hissed. "You want me to stay away from there? I won't!" she growled. The small cat jumped into the water and swam across. She jumped out and padded to Cougar. Yawning, she sat and glared at the clan cat.
