Lines - a Poem

      "Lines"

      Like perpendicular lines,
      Our eyes met once.
      Our hearts shared a beat,
      Our feet danced in harmony.
      But fate pulled us apart,
      And we never met again.

      And now, like parallel lines,
      We live past each other.
      Our lives never meet,
      But I can see you as clear
      As my own reflection.
