So I tried making those tuna treats, thankfully after they're baked the tuna smell isn't very strong, only if you hold it to your nose. Tally loves them! Sense I was already baking I decided to make her some peanut butter oatmeal dog cookies that smelled SO GOOD when mixing them, I was tempted to try one.
Also I managed to teach her bow today after four short training sessions, and now she's pretty consistent with it. I was worried she wouldn't want to do it but she picked up quickly, even though at the start she was a little confused why I had my hand under her stomach.
Phandom@ Chewy looks adorable <3 cute name
Fairytale@ I want to steal your dog
Hey sorry I haven't been on. Busy lately, I don't use my computer much anymore anyways

Just gonna pop in real quick...
May is so pretty! Love her bandana! (Also I will message you on AIM tomorrow lol. I'm so lazy I haven't gotten my laptop out since the last time we talked! I've got new pictures I gotta send you!)
Hazza- since I'm here, let me say your basset is adorable! When Chew was a pup, there was this lazy old basset hound that came to our dog park sometimes. He had a kid that was like 2. That old lazy dog was crazy about his kid! He'd come around and see all the people, but he'd always have to wander back to check on his boy before coming back for more attention! Your girl looks a lot like he did! They are such sweet dogs.
I know I posted ages ago asking for tips on getting Chew to 'take' something in his mouth. Don't remember who gave me tips, but I just wanted to let everyone know that it finally clicked! Took over a year, but it clicked the other day when I was carrying a piece of hay. No idea why that hay made it click but I'm so glad it did! Now just gotta get him to stop barking at me after every take it, and to hold the item longer before dropping it!
Hopefully one day soon I can send him to fetch drinks for me lol. (I wouldn't trust him not to stop for a snack if I sent him for food lol)

99% of the time when I'm posting on here its from my phone so my replys are short or... I don't reply at all. :'D . Juniper did me the great favor of breaking my laptops charging port so now its a pain to charge it and keep it charged.

She likes to 'cuddle' when I'm on the laptop and months and months of her laying on the poor charging port have finally destroyed it. Thanks June.
I guess an update on the Idiots. Juniper has had some amazing walks recently. Couple days ago we passed by three consecutive houses with small dogs in the backyards, outside of some tail flagging she didn't react. Then she sat next to me while my roommate and I chatted with a neighbor from around the corner. She completely ignored him which is exactly what I want from her. I swear this last year she's FINALLY started growing a brain. Her reactivity towards dogs is still very much there, but her triggers are becoming more spaced out and easier to deal with, she now gives me ample warning before flying off the handle.. which with the warning its rare she does escalate since I can catch it. ^^; Stranger aggression is pretty much gone. Haven't had to joy of testing her kid reaction, but its kind of a non-issue. She hasn't gone after any of the cats in.. I have no idea. I still get nailled from time to time (My pinky was ripped open today. Yay) and I still DO NOT trust her in 90% of situations, but he's certainly coming into herself and becoming a dog thats actually tolerable to live with.
Honey, it's in the stars
And you're my everything from here to Mars
And every word I say I truly mean
Dear darling, I hope I'm being clear
'Cause there's no one like you on earth
That can be my universe

Lots of activity on here!
Dream Dogs
1. Golden Retriever- I would love to have one of those big happy go lucky dogs with their insanely cute faces and adorable elegance. I love the sweet disposition, general friendliness and fair level of energy.
2. Doberman Pinscher or Brittany- Two energy filled, intelligent working dogs. I don't know if I'll ever be in the position to take on a dog with more energy then Epic, but who knows.
3. Greyhound, Italian Greyhound, Borzoi or Silken Windhound- I love the thin elegant frames and similar temperaments.

@Cardinal
That's awesome!
@.Middy.
I've attempted to get Epic to hold something in her mouth. But once she figured we weren't playing with the object, she would lightly put her mouth over it then stop and walk off.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f98PGdHx91QI like to watch this trainer's videos but he recently got a puppy (who is super smart btw) and He makes her do a lot of jumping and other stuff. Wouldn't she suffer for joint problems later in life?
Yes, you are supposed to avoid having a puppy do a lot of jumping and heavy contact activities until they're a year old. You can have them do a little bit of really low jumps before then and working on grass is definitely better than working on a tougher ground, like sidewalk.
