"Women with guns is pretty common where I come from. In fact at times it's necessary. The streets aren't as safe as they could be in the town I live in." Emma explained. "And yes, we're also long past the age of sword fighting. If we're going to fight up close and personal we'll use a small knife, knuckle dusters...Or you know, improvise with whatever object you can grab. Saitou frowned, the corners of his mouth twitched downward for a second before putting back his cold expression. He had sworn his life to the way of the sword and was now told such weapons were outdated and useless. Anyone would have feel bad to be told such things. He said nothing and turned to Emma, watching her hand in which had appeared the piece of fabric, his eyes opening wide.

"What are you doing, Emma ? What is this ?" He cocked his head slighlty and observed her.

"I'm just going to try and get us a little bit of cash, or whatever they use to trade for items around here. Just stick around this general area. I'll be back soon." She replied quickly, beginning to walk off. Her suppressed pistol replaced the AP Pistol in her holster, and as she rounded a corner and was out of sight, she slipped the ski mask she held in her hand over the top of her head. Ducking into the shadows of the stone structures. She searched for her first victim, pistol and cavalry dagger both at the ready.

A rather scruffy looking man wearing a series of furs walked right past her a few moments later. She observed him carefully, spotting what seemed to be a rather heavy looking pouch tucked into the folds of his outfit in a terrible attempt to hide it.

"Hmm. If that's what I think it is, I don't think you and I are too different in terms of lifestyle." She muttered, breaking away from the shadows and walking quietly after him, her feet barely making a sound. Gradually, she sped up, and in an empty area, jumped forward, caught the man around the neck with her left arm, and held the dagger up to his throat with her right hand. She grinned at the surprise, frightened look out of the corner of his eye.

"Rule one of being a criminal; never, ever let your guard down. So tell me sir, now that I have you in this rather dire position...What's in the pouch?" She smirked, a wicked grin growing on her covered up face.

The samurai stood in the shadows it provided, putting his scarf up to cover his mouth, observing at the same time the passer-by. He had nothing of great value except his swords, which he would never trade for anything. Looking up at the sky, he sighed once more before closing his eyes and waiting for his comrade.

The Great Witch lifted her head and gazed around, the witch's red eyes scanned the landscape around her. She narrowed her eyes and lifted one hand up, a small flame appearing in her palm, she brought up the other palm and fire appeared in that one. The sight of the town in the distance almost made her wish to burn it to the ground, for she'd destroyed many towns in the past and therefore thought it'd be easy...but she didn't know that her powers had been greatly reduced until she tried to cause a humongous blaze to rip across the ground, only to find a couple small embers splash from the source of the fire in her hands. She cursed and flicked the fire away, glaring at the ground as she pulled the hood further over her head to mask her annoyance, her red eyes glowing slightly as he stared out at the distant figures he could see. The Labyrinthian witch hissed a low hiss, masking her face with her hood, marching toward the town, her cloak eerily still despite the pace she moved at.
