Hi, guys! You've reached the Dream Pet Organization! You can call us the DPO, for short. Here at the Dream Pet Organization, we help people get their dream pets, or simply pets that are high on their wish list that they're having a hard time getting. So you say you've seen many other agencies or clubs like us? Well, we do things a little differently around here. Come on, let me show you. Here's one of our main representatives, Blackie.

Hi, I'm Blackie. Let me show you around the DPO. But, before we do anything else, it's important that you know the rules. If you don't, you'll most likely be ejected from the DPO.

Rules

~ All Chicken Smoothie rules apply. It's good that you know them! If not... Go read them

~ Please put "staple" in your rule-reading section.

~ Dreamies may not be the same as your top WL pets.

~ You will receive a free pet if you follow rule two.

~ Please ignore rules two through four, as they are not true.

~ Give some, take some. If you give a pet, you'll be sure to receive one, too.

~ On that topic, be sure to not only receive pets. That's what I like to call greedy. :3

~ Keep in mind, here at the DPO, we try the best we can to get out dreamies and wish list pets. Please be patient.

~ If things seem to be getting out of control here, I'll shut down the DPO for a day or two. If this keeps happening, I'll let the time increase by days. If and when we get to a week/two weeks, I'll ask a mod to lock the DPO.

~ Be sure to let us know when you're editing your wish list. Who knows? You might get a nice pet.

~ On the topic of locking the DPO, remember that there is a general chat room for you to talk. Don't spam this place up and get it locked.

~ If you're giving a dream pet but want something in return, then don't send the trade. You can ask for something small in return, such as a missed outcome, but nothing like a rare that would make the donation a trade.

~ Please, don't forget that we all at the DPO try our hardest to get pets out. I've already said this, but this is probably one of the rules that needs to be stressed the most here: We try our best to get rares or just wish list pets out, but sometimes we just don't have any tradable rares, wish list pets, or any dream pets, either. Please keep that in mind.

The History of the DPO

All right, now that we've gotten all the mandatory stuff done with, let's get on to the fun stuff! You don't have to read this, but here's a quick definition of the DPO's history.

It all started with 'Renew's search for the 2009 Spiderweb butterfly wolf at the WDC, or the Wish List Donation Corp. It was her dream pet and she had done many fair trades for it, but it seemed that no one would help. She got many good pets from the WDC, along with making many good friends. One day, she made a relatively large donation. It really took some good pets away from her, but it certainly felt good. ( ) That day, a friend on the WDC, whiskers12cat, gave Renew her dream pet! She was so excited. She felt totally inspired by the kindness of whiskers12cat. Although, for a long time, she didn't do anything, she only thought. Soon after, though, fights and spam broke out on the WDC. And, eventually, the founder had the thread locked. Renewal was very sad, and that was when she decided that that she'd do something. She wanted to create an experience like the one she'd had at the WDC, but she wanted it to last forever. That was when she decided to make this thread, and the Dream Pet Organization was born!

Renew is so awesome xD Well, anyways, let's talk a little about what the Dream Pet Organization does. What? You're still not convinced that the DPO isn't awesome? Well, just to prove it, I'll give you some of the benefits right here!

Benefits of Joining the DPO

~ Every once in awhile, our founder, Renew, will host parties for the members of the DPO. One free pet per person that posts on the day of the party. No telling what pet it will be, but it could be a rare, it could be a common. Dum.b will explain everything on the date of the first party, but she'll let you know in advance.

~ You'll have a chance to really make someone's day! How would you feel if just out of the blue, someone offered you your dream pet for free? I'm only a dog, but I know that I would feel great!

~ You'll have a chance to receive your own dream pet! There are some fortunate, giving people out there, and I'm sure that plenty of them will be joining the DPO and will be ready to give!

~ Your donations don't have to be huge, rare, or dream pets. You can offer small things, too, such as a missed outcome from last month, or maybe that PPS that they've been searching for. The little things count, too!

~ Like Renew did, you can make friends with people, but not just because they give you pets.

Hi, I'm Frost Heart. I'm another representative for the Dream Pet Organization. I'll be showing you the ropes of how to join! What? You think that there's not much to know? Well, believe me, there's plenty to know! For instance, if you really want to join, you'll have to be able to commit yourself. What does that mean? You have to actually be giving out pets instead of just receiving them. That's one of the most stressed rules here at the DPO, and hopefully you can understand why! Also, you have to be able to accept any donations. Some people might be newer and came here to achieve some of their first pets, so a donation that's small might mean that the person is 'needy' in terms of pets! If they donate anything to you, be sure to thank them, no matter the size or the rarity! This is a place for giving, for helping people from all walks of their CS life, from being a newbie player or to being an aged, well respected player here on CS! You also have to know that if you say that you'll be looking around in the auctions, or simply doing trades for someones pet, do it. Your word is your word, and you can't change that. Thankfully, I haven't had to experience this, but I know that some people might decide to say that they're doing things for someone so that they'll get more donations, when actually- well, you get the picture. And if you join, be sure to not just join and expect donations, join and post, look around in auctions, and check wish lists frequently. It'll mean a lot to people if you can get a donation out to them. And, I'm sure that you've anticipated this rule, but here it is anyways: be kind to Renwal! If you get your dream pet from a member of the DPO, would have gotten it if it wasn't for this thread? After all, who made it? Renew! But don't think that she's self centered. She's done many random trades for very rare/rare donations to people she hardly knows! And, in conclusion to this sub-topic, be sure to send some donations out to her, too. She'll donate to you if you donate to her. It's a win-win, guys! =) Want to join? Here are the sign up papers!

Mascots

Everyone likes mascots, whether they're silly or not. Well, at the DPO, you have a chance to be able to send in your decorated pets, either gifts that you've received here or simply favorite pets, and have them represent the Dream Pet Organization! Anyone can do this, even if you don't want to be a member, although your mascot will be deleted after awhile so that there'll be room for members as well. Post your pet on the DPO so that everyone can see it. When you do this, copy and paste the pets form URL onto a reply. {This will allow Renewal to see the pet that will be a mascot.} Then press the "code" button, and then paste the pets code between the [code] and [/code.] {This allows Renew to copy and paste the pet's code onto this section of the DPO so that it will be seen here as a mascot.} Well, what're you waiting for? Becoming a Mod/Co-Admin

Our Co-Admin/Admin will let you know if there are any positions for moderator or co-admin open, but there are none now.

Hi, I'm Demon Dreams, but you can just call me Demon. What, I look familiar? You heard about me in the Dream Pet Organization's history? Well, yes. I am that 'spiderweb butterfly wolf'. Anyways, back on topic. Here at the DPO, we are in need of more that just Dum.b to take care of this thread. We need some caring, firm people out there with enough time to be able to take care of any situation that's thrown at them here at the DPO. This is a job that you really need to take responsibility for, because if you, the mod/co-admin are here but Dum.b is away and a problem comes up, yet you don't do anything, you'll be ejected from your position and we'll have a vote on who to take your place. Dum.b will always announce if there is an open spot, but don't worry! Dum.b won't be naming any names or placing the blame on you for anything. She'll probably just PM you and ask why you didn't do anything about the problem, then quietly 'fire' you from your place. See? No harm done. And, all the better, you won't be banned from the Organization! You'll still be able to post and make/give donations, you just won't have your spot of authority. Most importantly, if you're a mod, and even more so a co-admin, you will have had to have read the rules. After all, how will you know if something is wrong if you don't even know the rules? Exactly, you won't. So please, especially if you're taking a place of authority here the DPO, please read the rules carefully. There will be only one co-admin and about five moderators. What's the difference? Well, the co-admin and the admin, which is Dum.b, they both have complete dominance over the thread. If Dum.b thinks that the thread should be shut down for a few days or someone should be ejected from the agency, she'll converse with her co-admin first before any action is taken. Well, then what do the mods do? They are more like rule enforcers. If someone on the thread is breaking the rules, they give them a warning. Three warnings, and the mod will let Dum.b and the co-admin know. If you're a mod and you're reporting someone, tell them everything that happened so that they can also discuss the severity of their 'penalty' towards the DPO so that they can either be banned or just ejected for a day or two. But be sure not to forget, you're not in a real position of power over this thread, so you don't have as much power as Sorren-fey, or maybe Tess. No, you've only really got the power over the thread So you want to be a mod/co-admin? Here are the sign up sheets!

Black-List

Hello, there. I'm Reverance, the Dream Pet Organization's 'jailor' so to speak. Sadly, Dum.b decided to have me make this black-list so that incase people get in trouble, or get banned or ejected after being given their three warnings, they'll be black-listed and then foe-d. When Dum.b or the co-admin decide that someone needs to be banned from the thread, they let me know. I write down their username here and the rule they've broken. If you make it on the black-list, I'll be surveying the thread to see if you come back. If you do, and you continue to post and break any rules, then I'll be sure to tell Dum.b, who will then tell a moderator so that they can analyze the situation. Hopefully we won't have to result to that, but if need be Dum.b isn't afraid to talk to the mods of CS.
