"Can I stay in the medicine den with you? We could tell the clan I'm like an apprentice but not quite. And it would be nice to be with you." She meows touching her nose to his cheek.

"Sure. We could say your eye wound reopened or something." He says, walking into camp. He padded to the medicine den and ducked inside.

"That sounds good." She meows lowering her voice to a whisper. She sets her leaves down on the ground. "I'm sorry for bugging you it's just that I really like you and I don;t want what happened to Jaywing to happen to you. I don;t want you to die Frostpaw." She meows.

He held back laugh. "I don't think I want to die either." He said. "Maybe." He added under his breath. "I need a nap." He said, turning towards his cave. He picked up some mint leaves before disappearing beside the moss and lichen. He lay the mint leaves in the moss and lay down, hoping to see his father and ask what happened to his mother.

She hesitated for a moment before following him. She curled up beside him. "I hope you don't mind." She meows. He smelled like mint leaves.

He rested his head on his paws without saying anything. A few moments later he fell asleep and woke up in a field of long grass. "Dad?" He called. "Mom?"

She breaths in his soft scent and she too drifts off feeling his soft pelt against hers. They could be mates later. But it would have to be a secret. But that did not matter to her.

He growled when he realised he was alone in the field. "Then why am I here!" He snarled, turning around. His face softened when he saw a kit in front of him. She was a light grey tabby. "Rosekit?" He asked, confused. The she kit morphed into a full grown cat. He started in confusion until the cats pelt changed color. It was Roseblossom. "M-mom?" He stuttered. What was going on?
