"I... I'm not sure. I can try though." Blake admitted. He'd never been in a situation where he needed to climb, but he hoped it wouldn't be too hard. He checked behind to make sure everyone was keeping up. "We need to stick together, stay close." he called back, extending his stride slightly. The huuman voices were getting louder, as were the footsteps, but he forced himself not to think about them. Or consider what would happen if one of them got caught. Shuddering, Blake pushed onwards, calling for the others to keep up.

Tia nodded, relieved. She pressed closer to her friends, her stride long and easy. She had never had any problems keeping up before, thanks to her spindly legs, but if it came to a confrontation with the humans, she was pretty sure she'd be useless. She'd never even growled in agression before, let alone fought.

It's at the back of the beach, further away from the water." She answered Jude, trying not to focus on the expanse of ocean she could already see across the skyline.

"Okay, we should be able to make it." Blake said, trying to keep his nerves under control. From Tia's long, slender legs and graceful build, it was clear she could run fast, but how much good would that do, if they had the van? Atleast one of them would be safe. Hopefuly. Blake had always been athletic, energetic and happy to run everywhere, but that was distance, not speed. If it came to it, though, he would make sure the others got away, even if it put his life in danger. Blake always put others before himself, it was just who he was. He didn't care what happened to him, not if his friends were safe. It wouldn't come to that though. they would make it to the beach.

Jude nodded. "Lets hope we make it in time.. they are getting closer.." she said, hope in her eyes were leaving. Her thick fur stood on end and her pace started to quicken slightly. "I don't want them to catch us.." she whimpered.

Tia loped beside the others, her heart thrumming an irregular tattoo against her chest, terrified. Hearing Jude's frightened whimper, she drew nearer to her, hoping that her presence alone could soothe her, seeing as her throat had constricted too tight for her to speak. She fleetingly hoped that the dog from the garbage was following them- he looked like a friendly one.

It was either the water or the humans as they ran, and Tia swallowed back a whine as the beach drew close.

Jude calmed slightly at seeing the beach, she glanced at Tia, hoping she hadn't upset her with her own fear, being handled roughly by humans is not what any dog wants. Her tongue flopped out of her mouth and she panted while she ran, how grateful she was that it wasn't pouring the rain and she hoped that the tide wasn't up.

--xD Tia was on her own, when she briefly met Archie but doesn't know his name. Jude, Blake and her have shared stories and become friends. Just as they were settling down Archie runs past in a panic because humans are coming. At the moment they are running as a group away from them, headed to the beach C:

Hearing Jude whimper, Blake slowed to keep an eye on her, "we'll be okay. It's only a little further." He squinted towards the ocean, hoping that the cars and people would slow enough for them to dart onto the sand. Blake hoped that the small dog was still following, but couldn't risk a look behind them. Any second now and they'd be hitting the beach. We're going to make it. We can do this Blake chanted it over and over in his head, forcing himself to continue, to stay strong.

Katana watched the sand as the grains shifted beneath her moving paws. It always made her eyes flash as she watched the grains slowly swirl around her paws. But when she entered the hard wet sand, the feeling when away, and all she felt was the city's wretched concrete sidewalks, roads, and everything else in that hell hole. Which made Katana frown unhappily.
