D.N.A, it's what makes us. It's our bodily coding. So when it's modified, we are modified.


A small island a village was home to many people, and a small animal centre for pets. The island was taken over by a group of people who needed it for experiments, it was evacuated but the animals where left to rot. The scientists changed the adoption building into a lab, and conducted experiments on the cats and dogs who where still alive. Sadly some animals grew angry at what they had done to them and killed the remaining humans, beginning to run wild. Some animals had there D.N.A mixed with other animals and others had genes added, in order to control fire, water, air and more.

You are one of them. You have awoken, in a small room. The door is open as are all of the other doors in the facility, you can hear a few animals around, but it looks like most have went outside. You cautiously pad over to a small mirror, above a dish of old water and food. You have changed, you have powers, the normal life you used to have is forever gone. It's time for you to run free.

Rules

1. You can only be a cat, or dog.
2. No repeated D.N.A, for example, don't just be a bird. Be a type of bird.
3. No mary sues ect.
4. You are not invincible.
5. No animals who cannot die!
6. Even if your animal is aquatic, please make it able to breath out of water for some time.

Some of us, sadly, did not survive the mutations. But those who did, either became loners or formed packs. The largest and most well known of the packs, is the Thunder Pack. Here is a list of those who are in Thunder Pack, and then the loners. We just class other clans and loners really.

Of course you may not fully understand the effects of changing genetics and D.N.A so i'm here to tell you what exactly happens after certain things happen!

Animal D.N.A X Dog/Cat D.N.A

When a dog, or cat is injected with another animals D.N.A they often get either no bodily mutations and just powers, such as a jellyfish may cause no physical change in appearance, yet they will still have a lethal sting from there paws and tail. Some, however, cause more visual changes, the fur colour may change, they may grow extra body parts or even have there body start to function differently, even rendering them amphibious or completely aquatic at times!

Weather X Dog/Cat D.N.A

Sadly, there is only one of each known version of this. Some dogs and cats have been injected and are now able to control wind, water, clouds, fire, plant growth and more. Most of these dogs and cats are the leaders of small packs or just shy loners. Some can control the weather or thing they are injected with, others have the powers used to describe that specific thing. As an example some are merged with fire and are able to swim through lava and survive the hottest temperatures.

Comic Or Story Dogs

Some experiments conducted by the younger and less...aware scientists caused several dogs and cats to be merged with those from a film or book. This meant there body, personality and powers where changed to match those of the desired outcome. This meant some are overly evil and just have odd personalities. The most well known of these being Bolt, merged with the dog Bolt he has a very loyal personality yet still very stern and almost obnoxious. There is few of these and it's best to observe before approaching them, due to the varied and unpredictable actions.

History;; Bolt used to be a normal pet german shepherd. His owner died and he went to the adoption centre but sadly was taken and was the first to be mutated. A younger scientist whom wanted to test his new theory managed to alter Bolt's whole personality and body to become a real version of the cartoon dog. Bolt cannot remember ever being a pet and only remembers being Bolt, he left the centre and formed a pack with some of the other dogs and even cats, later making Thunder Pack. They killed the humans but not before they mutated more dogs and cats.
