The Falconers ((Open))

You're a hobby falconer, loving nothing more than watching your bird of prey soar the skies. Whether it's a kestrel, eagle, hawk or falcon, you share a bond with your bird, like s/he's your family. You look in their eyes and see a sort of a ... Humanoid wisdom. But there's something you don't know. Your bird is a shapeshifter.

You only realize it when your 'bird' reveals their true form to you, telling you that the government is on to them. If they catch them, they'll either be tested on or, more likely, be exterminated. There's only one thing to do.

New friend by your side, you take off into the forbidden forests of Moonblaze, stopping your headlong dash only to peer cautiously into an abandoned house. It's crumbling and you had a hard time finding it, as weeds have crawled up the wooden sides and woven it deeply into the brush. You take it as your shelter and are soon joined by five other people, all with a bird of prey on their shoulder. With shock, you realize they all have the exact same story to tell.

Now the six of you, along with your shapeshifter friends, are on the run from pretty much everyone in the world. A price on your heads, will you survive to show the world that shape shifters are nothing to be afraid of and don't have to be killed?

Rules:
None of us like them, but they're needed.
•No god modding or power playing. If there's a hint of anything like that in your forms, you won't be accepted.
•All Tess' rules apply
•You must make a shifter and a human. Your shifter won't belong to your human either, I make the pairings.
•You must be able to write at least one detailed sentence. 'He sat down outside the building' does not count as a sentence. You must at least include your character's name.
•Fade to black when things become to violent. Romance is encouraged, but not too much so you shouldn't have to fade for romantic reasons.
•Before making up major plot twists, pm me
•If all the slots are filled, don't ask to join
•Try to have good grammar
•If someone is picking a fight, don't reply with something mean but pm me instead.
•Three strikes and you're banned. No exceptions.
•You must be active. If you don't reply within a week, I'll pm you and if you don't reply within three days, your character will be deleted and that spot will be opened.

Talon's 'second language' is sarcasm. She'll reply with a cutting retort whenever she gets the chance and will always insult someone when able. She's fiery and hot-headed and she won't let others help her, as she's a big 'I'll do it myself' girl. She's extremely stubborn and strong willed, if someone tells her not to do something she'll probably do it just to spite them. Talon is quick to anger and often quick to judge. Many see her as heartless or nothing but cruel, but she's actually a sweetheart when you get to know her. Also, she's extremely loyal and would fight to the death for her friends, especially the human she bonded with.

Caden, or Cade, is a bit of a geek. He loves anything electronic and before he became addicted to falconry, he spent all his time indoors sitting at a computer. He's great with electronics and can figure out almost any bug or glitch- he built his high-tech computer himself. He's quiet when you first meet him and hardly ever says a word, usually sitting alone in a corner. When you know him, however, you'll find that he's funny and a bit of a tease, as he loves to hear others laugh.
