I feel you guys.
I used to be a part of so many rps, but now I can't find any to join.

I mostly just do 1x1's now because the amount of group RP's that are dropped and ignored (this happens a lot with 1x1's too though) is crazy. Also there's always the one person who isn't putting in as much effort as the rest, you know? I don't know, I feel like a one on one is a lot easier for me to handle because there's nobody to go ahead of you, etc.

That's why I don't RP anymore. Too many kept dying, or there was always this one person who could only do one-liners. Which, BTW, is hard to build a post on. So you end up making one liners too.

1X1's are also hard. I had one with someone who not only seemed to post on-liner after one-liner, but the RP was full of nothing but romance. I even suggested some twists or action, but even then it would be for one post and then gone. Back to romance.

Yeah, if you couldn't already tell, straight romance in both stories and RPs make me sick. Most of the stories I'm working on now don't even include romance. And it's a nice change. (Of course, you could say I'm bitter because I haven't even kissed a guy yet, LOL. XD)

They can be hard sometimes, but I try and find people who are the most compatable with me if that makes sense XP I think I've only ever had one really.. trainwreck of an RP but that was sooo long ago I was a total newb too.
I dunno, I just prefer a 1x1 over anything because it's a lot easier and you can have multiple and you don't really fall behind too often if you know what I mean lol.

I feel with you guys...
I cancelled normal roleplays a while ago and only have 2 1/2 1x1 running at the moment
and I am really, really happy
because with my shedule I just can't post every day and it is so relaxed with the peeps I'm writing with that it doesn't matter if you have to wait a week or so for a reply
It's quite joyful for me
and the people I'm writing with I mostly know very long already so it's more like two friends writing a bit together

I know many are looking for roleplays which move fast, but to me these things get boring very fast
and I'm slightly turned off from the humans roleplays you can find here
it's all so teenager stuff I just can't get a grip on
where did all the great stuff go....

I like to stalk the roleplay threads (even the 1x1) and look what other peeps are writing about
I'm sooo shocked how many one-liner rps without any context are floating around. I'm always like "whuuut how did you got so many pages?" and when I take a look at the thread I see why.

That is why I haven't joined any RPs here except for when I first joined a year ago. The normal ones are full of one-liners, which annoys the heck out of me. (Seriously, it's so bad that back at this other forum I hosted an RP and I almost felt like kicking someone who only posted one-liners out.) And as for the semi-lit to lit RPs, well, not many seem to be active. And when they are, it's usually only for a few days before it, too, dies.

I have dinos that I want to RP too. Maybe, and I know this is slightly off topic, we could have a 1X1 together?
