Hello everyone! I don't post here much, but I figured I would now. I have exciting news o:

Fennec's Catori and my Tanaka have been mates for a while now (however I don't think it was ever announced here haha oops), and they're now the parents of two beautiful twin girls.





The girl on the left belongs to Fennec, Subira, aka "Rei", and the girl on the right belongs to me, and is named Sonia. They were designed by the lovely Polaris, and I love them both dearly ;u;

With that being said, I'm looking to perhaps develop Sonia a little bit, perhaps through roleplaying. More on that later. I figure I'll introduce my two kias first (since Tanaka is a lot more developed now than he was before.)



Tanaka Shikobah is a seafaring vagabond with a strange love of jadestones. He's been travelling mostly on his own since the age of eighteen, remaining mostly at sea on his small, beloved ship. Overall, he's a pretty laid-back and easygoing character, though he's kind of awkward upon first meeting him (especially around women and children). However, it isn't hard to get him to warm up to someone, and he is a very loyal friend once they do so. He isn't too fond of staying in one place for too long, and will get pretty restless is he does. His love and admiration for jade stems from the jade necklace that his brother gave him before the older kia left to set off on his own travels. He will do practically anything for jade now: trade countless valuables, haggle, and even steal if the measures are desperate. Accompanying him on his travels is the love of his life, Catori Auqene.




Sonia (pronounced "sawnya" and not "sownya") Azuri Shikobah is the eldest child of Tanaka and Catori, and like her parents, has a love for travelling, especially by sea. Since a young age, she had a fascination with street performers, namely fire dancers. At the age of twelve, when her family's ship broke down and they were low on money for repairing it, Sonia learned the art of fire dancing, and used this to try and gather a little extra money for her family. Since then, she's made it into something of an occupation. Aside from that, she also has a fascination with weapons like daggers blades, and considers that a hobby. She's easy going like her father, serene and graceful like her mother, but also kind of carefree and happy-go-lucky. She's usually pretty cheery, but also has a sort of more demented side to her, in the sense that she could probably slit your throat and smile down at you as you're dying.

Roleplays, anyone?

So, now that that's out of the way, I'm tentatively opening Sonia up to potential RPs, or even just relations (friends, enemies, MAYBE romance.) I would prefer to try and develop these relationship through RP, but please know that I'm not the most active roleplayer. My muse is often very spotty, so it might take me a while to reply to you. Please be patient with me (if you're not going to be able to be patient then I'm probably not the right RP partner for you.) However, on days when my RP muse is little to none, I'd be more than happy to discuss headcanons and the like! I'm a semi-lit to literate roleplayer, and prefer to use Skype only. Also, I tend to get bored with normal, slice-of-life RPs very easy, so I wouldn't really like to have them meet up in a cafe or at a park or something. I love action, adventure, and maybe even some angst here and there. (I would LOVE to roleplay some kind of AU, too! Maybe something medieval, or like, monster hunters!) Anyway, though I might be open to romance, know that you'll have to work for it, because she's very blunt about these things and sees flirting as just another form of friendliness. In terms of sexuality, for the time being she'll go for anything, but would probably lean more towards females.

Now, questions!

Is your kia the fight or flight type?
Tanaka ;; Fight. He's stubborn and won't back down easily, especially if something he cares about is on the line.
Sonia ;; Fight. She's fiery and will literally fight anything.

Have you based your kias off a person/character/song/series/etc.?
Neither of them are really based off of anything I can think of? (Interestingly enough, they both share a name with two of my favourite characters from a game, but I only realised this after I named them, lol...)

What's your kia's favourite video game? Why do they like it?
Tanaka ;; He doesn't really play video games, but if he did, it would probably something like Assassin's Creed?
Sonia ;; Same as above, but if she did play them, probably Tales of Symphonia or Tekken (because she loves to fight things).

Favourite childhood book?
Tanaka ;; Treasure Island by R.L Stevenson
Sonia ;; The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S Lewis (I think?)

Which pokemon/pokemon type is your kia's favourite?
Again, if they knew about pokemon.
Tanaka ;; Kyogre or Vaporeon/Water type
Sonia ;; Absol/Dark, Dragon or Fire type.

What pokemon type would your kiamara be?
Tanaka ;; Water/Dark
Sonia ;; Fighting/Fire or Dark/Fire

Would your Kia ever get a tattoo?
Tanaka ;; Probably. It would be like a sea serpent or something across his back or wrapped around his leg.
Sonia ;; I could see it, but I'm not sure what she'd get. Maybe a dragon?

Does your kia have a music preference?
Both of them prefer instrumental music. Tanaka likes more laid back, calming things (think medieval music), whereas Sonia likes something faster, with a lot of drums probably. Something she can dance to.

Where does your kia go when angry?
Tanaka ;; To the deck of his ship, to lean against the railing and watch the ocean.
Sonia ;; Somewhere quiet and secluded where she can dance, throw her daggers at something, or just punch a wall/pillow.

What smell and taste triggers a good childhood memory/feeling from your kiamara?
Tanaka ;; Chocolate chips, cinnamon, strawberries, the smell of old parchment paper
Sonia ;; The smoke of a campfire, the salty sea air, citrus fruit

looking for roleplays for some of my kiamaras!

Odin is a person who generally doesn't enjoy going out and about outside his apartment. He usually stays at home, doing what he likes most (writing and reading classical literature) and avoiding what he doesn't like (general interaction with anyone other than his roomates). He shares an apartment in New York with Pip and Nymeria, but tends to not socialize with them too often. He works at the library to help keep himself occupied, but has more than once been caught in the history section instead of shelving the books in the young adult section. He is hesitant to form relationships with people, and even once he becomes quite close to someone, he finds it hard to completely let loose and have fun.

Farfalla grew up in the rolling hills of a european country, a low-ranking princess in her small land. From the moment she was born, she was quite frail, which grew to her constantly being supervised and watched. This caused her to grow up with a large fear of being alone while still making her quite awkward when presented with a social situation. Since then, she has started to become a bit more adjusted to normal life, but still finds it odd to be far away from her family from any huge given amount of time. Her family decided that, since she still has a lot of time before it's hers to take the throne, that she needed to take a break from the castle and find out what the world is really like. She has been traveling (albeit against her will) around Europe for a while now, slowly become acclimated to the world around her.

Nymeria doesn't quite know what she's doing with her life yet. She hasn't found a passion that she's truly loves, so she spends a lot of time traveling around the world trying to find it. Her home base, however, is in New York, in a small apartment with Pip and Odin. She owns a small cafe not far from her house that doesn't quite do too well, but somehow manages to stay in business. She's a generally chipper person, and tries to stay positive, but doesn't always do quite well of a job of that- being away from home from long periods of time does that to her. She makes friends fairly easily, but keeping them is a whole 'nother topic.

The only roleplays I'm looking for right now are PM, and either short-reply or semi-literate (around five lines). I WILL be slow to reply, so preferably something relaxed and casual. Thank you!
