Even in the afternoon, the day was chillingly cold. Snow blanketed the forest floor, piles upon piles of the chilly white powder building up around the trees and rocks as the day went on, leaving a winter wonderland awaiting anyone who might step outside. High, high up in the mountains, at the end of a scarcely traveled trail, stood a large cluster of caves, spread apart spaciously to create a glimmering safe haven, with shimmering icicles hanging from the roofs of the caves, and pristine, almost glass like ice over the small lake that laid nearby. In amongst this silvery, white landscape, a rather small she wolf laid, curled up atop one of the more outwardly set caves, the bright rays of sun peering through the clouds bouncing off of her ebony and scarlet fur, making it seem aglow. Her head raised a bit off of her paws as she looked out over the horizon from her perch with red eyes. "It's such a beautiful day..." she said to herself. "It's a shame nobody else is here to enjoy it with me.."

Aela romped in the snow like a playful pup as Fenris laid in a tree, large wings dangling below him. He huffed softly as she was careless and playful, but understood why. They had a terrible pup hood, well he did more than her but she still wasn't able to live it to the fullest. He chuckled softly when a large mass of snow plopped on her head. She was a fun she-wolf. His wigs dangling, his scars where revealed, something he always kept hidden in fear of weakness.

Vampirocilian's ears perked up, thinking she might have heard movement down in the forest far below her. She rose to her feet, shaking a bit of snow and water droplets off of her fur before bounding off, heading down the trail to investigate what she might have heard.
