Hai growled at the dogs, standing tall and powerful. If they thought he was alone, they were mistaken. Leaping for the dog that attacked Raven, he grabbed it by the throat, his fangs lightly pressing into the soft tissue. "You can come out now..." He smirked slightly as Baya, Kiba and Meko stepped out of the shadows, surrounding Hai and the dogs. "Now you must die..."

Barti looked at Yuki, confused. Why wasn't she tlaking to him. "Yuki, are you mad at me?"

Yuki was too busy tickling Storm to notice Barti. ((DX))

Ink limped up to help the Darkwoods, but suddenly about twenty dogs and wolves were surrounding the group, all ready to attack.
"It's been a while, Ink." A voice came.
"Barricade? I-Is that you?" Ink tilted his head to one side.
"You can hide, but you can't run kid!" The big black and white named Barricade charged at Ink, who remembered his training from Shadow and dodged the attack.
"I'm back baby, back!" Ink laughed. "I am so pumped!"
"Stand and fight kid." Barricade snorted. "Don't make jokes!"
"I may be small, but I'm scrappy! I've got major skills!"
Barricade lunged for Ink again and bit his ear, but Ink quickly shot forwards and made him let go.
"Would it kill you guys to say something like watch out, or, I don't know, heads up, or..."
Barricade went for him again and pinned the young wolf down, snarling in his face.
"You know what, you're even uglier from this angle."
The grey wolf snarled even louder and bared his fangs.
"Scarier, too. Heh...Uh..."

Meko rolled his eyes, spinning round and slashing at Barricade's flank. "Oi ugly, your fights with me." He stood tall, towering over the dogs. He was huge even to a wolf. "What is it you want pup?"

Barti watched her tickle her pup, and felt a wave of guilt. HE had sworn to protect her, yet she had died multiple times. No wonder she didn't want him around, especially near her pups. Defeated, Barti trotted back into the forest.

Barricade flipped over and pinned Ink to the ground, smirking. "Alright, I've got him down. You can come out now leader." Barricade simply ignored Meko as best as he could, although it was obvious that he was in pain from older injuries.

"Leader? Is he uglier than you are?" Ink growled at Barricade.
"Shut up kid...Thing is, I don't want to hurt anybody here right now...Including you..." Barricade quietly replied. "Just don't tell-"

"What was that? What did you say, Barricade?" A black wolf about the same size as Ink jumped out from behind a bush, landing right in front of Ink.
Barricade didn't answer. He really didn't to properly hurt anyone, even if it seemed like he wanted to at first...
"Talk NOW!" The wolf rammed in to Barricade and sent him flying in to a rock, where the small dog slumped down to the ground with a sigh.
"I...You...I'm tired of always being your little pet, Nightfall." Barricade finally confessed. "I want to be normal, live a normal life, without making everyone else's a misery! And I can't do that with you!"

"Nightfall?" Ink gasped. "No...He's come back? He died! It's impossible!"
"You know Nightfall!?" Barricade barked.
"He's my brother. The evil one out of my brothers and sisters...That's why he went away!"
"Ha. I thought I recognised you." Nightfall snorted at Ink. "Been a while, huh?"
"You...Leave Barricade alone!" Ink snarled. "It's his own choice! He doesn't have to work for worthless scum like you!"
"You'll pay for that, goody-boy. Why don't you do us all a favour and shut your big mouth!"

"Guys, don't start fighting already!" Barricade jumped to his paws and stood in between the two argueing wolves. "Just listen, okay?
Nightfall snarled in anger and slashed at the black and white dog, leaving deep wounds all down his face. He jumped back and growled at his leader, panting hard. The dogs that were watching all gasped in surprise and stepped back a little. "I knew some day that I would get the chance to stand up to you...You're not a leader! You're a coward!"

Obviously not wanting to be insulted, Nightfall attacked Barricade again and pinned him down. "Any last words, traitor?"
"You're a coward and everyone knows it. That's all I have to say."

The four brothers leapt at Nightfall, Meko and Kiba pinning him down, Hai to the left and Baya to the right. "We might ask you the same question pup..." Baya scoffed, smirking down at the small leader. "So, how shall we kill you? You can choose. And don't even think about trying to fight us, we are unlike any you've faced before. Want proof? We are over a 1000 years old thanks to Hai here."

"You can't kill me." Nightfall smirked. "I'll just keep on coming back, and you know all about it, don't you little bro?"
"You were the worst effected by that curse Nightfall. The more bad you to, the worse it'll get!"
"What are you talking about? It's great! I can just come back again!"
"Oh, you poor, poor thing Nightfall. Don't you know yet? They let you come back over and over, and then bad things start to happen. You'll just suffer and suffer until you you can't take it. Just like what happened to our father not long ago...That's why he was constantly trying to commit suicide. He wasn't 'crazy'."

"I don't have time for this..." Nightfall threw all the Darkwoods off of him and went for Ink, knocking him off his paws easily.
"It's about time you lost some weight, big guy!" Ink squeaked.
The two were too busy argueing and fighting that they didn't notice they were heading straight towards a cliff.
"You two, stop! STOP!!" Barricade shouted, running over to them.
"What? How dare you interrupt-" Nightfall was about to go for Barricade when the ground crumbled beneath his paws, making the two brothers fall down the cliff. Ink tried his best to hold on to the side, but in his weakened state it was impossible, and it also made more rocks come down. Nightfall landed half on his paws, while Ink landed face first in the mud.
"That was all your fault, you clumsy idiot?" Nightfall snapped.
"My fault? You're the one who started it!"
"Oh yeah? Well, we still need to finish it then!"
Ink was about to answer when the rocks suddenly fell down on to them both, crushing Ink's legs easily and knocking Nightfall out...

Meko rolled his eyes and bounded down, not caring for any injuries he might get. He didn't have to care. "Listen bud. Living beyond death isn't a good thing. You can still feel pain, increasing amounts of it. Life starts to throw things at you, bad things. You'll wish you were dead but that won't happen for a long time yet."
