Chapter one - The plot thickensLife for me has always been hard, once I was of legal age I packed up my things and moved away from home. With my new found freedom I decided to start something that would change all I was known for, I started a television company (which is surprisingly hard to do when you're twenty)
Things have been going great for awhile now and I decided to start a documentary show on the supernatural. Recently I got a letter from someone saying this was the place to start. Keepsake was a hub for the supernatural and that's where im heading
The nearest town is several thousand miles away, nobody would aid in my cause, that meant I had to walk. Luckily I found someone willing to sell me an electric scooter.
After a very long drive I made it to the location, I didn't see anything that would resemble life but in the distance I could see some faint light through the thick fog. I skidded down the side of the mountain (okay I actually fell face first into the sand :\)
I was able to salvage a dinghy from the wrecks that spread across the shore.
A note seems to be plastered inside, With a bit of work i managed to unstick it from the dinghy
Beware beware for you sir are unaware
The note didn't scare me, it was the feeling I got of someone watching me...
I decided to get on my way and start rowing. It felt like hours and I guess I might have dosed off, when I woke up my boat had bumped into something by the shore. I hopped off and was mildly disturbed
"Talk about a warm welcome..."
What I previously thought to be a few rocks, maybe some driftwood was actually a corpse...
So I have some experience with ghosts and mysteries but seriously a corpse? I moved my boat and pulled it towards the shore, I was drenched and covered in seaweed. Maybe I should report the body to someone
I walked around the small town, there was only one local business open at this late hour
"Look alive y'all, we got a customer"
"That's kinda hard tuh do"
"Dont you start makin' fun of my poor word choice now"
"That's also kinda hard tuh do"
"Yer killin' me Jeff"
"Am I interrupting something you two have here?"
"Theres been nothin' between us for long time hun, Now what can I do ya for?"
"..."
"Hahah, im just kiddin' with ya sweetie, what were you about to say?
"I need to file a police report, theres a body in the water!
They both stared at each other for a minute before Jeff started to chuckle
"Oh the look of your face is priceless! Dead bodies ain't nothing new to us son! say what did she look like?"
"uh...Kinda wet and covered in seaweed?"
I hate being put on the spot, I usually give kinda stupid answers like that, you should see my press conferences
Its kinda hard to think about what she looked like, i've never seen a dead body before...
"This here town doesn't have a sherrif. Nobody's crazy enough tuh investigate. Anyone who does usually ends up like my wife."
"Yer dead too. You seem a bit shaken up sweetie, Why not stay in the basement"
"Oh thank you so much! A good rest is what I need after this experience...Wait did you both just say you're dead?"
"Yep! And today is our anniversary! twenty three years and still goin' strong!"
"Try not to remind me Im stuck with you for eternity..."
They both showed me to the basement, it was kinda cozy, there was a rug, a tall lamp an old TV set and a dusty old bed. I flicked on the switch for the lights, you could really see all the dust and cobwebs with the illumination. I was drawn to an old fireplace, the mantle was filled with wedding pictures of the young couple. They both looked so happy, one photo in particular I was drawn to; It was a picture of the couple with their newborn daughter. A small note was written on the back "To my greatest achievement, Emelia." behind the photo was a small newspaper clipping
"A couple was filled with grief today after receiving the news of their daughter's mysterious death. Emelia Corth was found unresponsive behind the lighthouse on March 17th, 1976. Local residents and shocked
"She was so happy and full of life, its such a shame to have lost such a good person" Says the town's doctor after doing all he could.
"Her smile could brighten even the darkest of days, she was a miracle on this dead town. She was my whole world." says Sarah Baker who was a close friend of Emelia.
"I only wish I could've said goodbye. But she was all alone...She never deserved this" Says Brian Moore who was also friend of Emelia
"She was our little butterfly, such a sweet young girl." says Emelia's parents.
While her death is still a mystery the whole town is in mourning for the girl who residents say 'Could light the way'
"Thirty-two years ago today..."
There was a small shrine, the candles were blobs of wax melted into the mantle. There was a dusty old toy chest in the corner of the room next to a locked closet. Its very sad her life had to end at fourteen
R.I.P

1962-1976
"Don't Worry, the dark doesn't scare me"
Its getting late, I better go.
It seems that this story is just beginning, Toon in next time! Im a bit unsure of my "writing skills" and i'd love some feedback if anyone reads this

Chapter 1 - The plot thickens I slept for a few hours before some racket woke me up, I lifted the pillow off my face just enough for me to look around, a shadowy figure was looming over the bed.
I groaned groggily
"Five more minutes...mom"
"Try again"
"Why are you here?"
"For you."
"Why me? What did I do?"
"Nothing yet, But I may have something of interest to you"
I shrugged, not like I had anything better to do tonight.
Well I could go back to sleep but odds are she isn't going to leave me alone. It was dark in the room but I could see her standing by the stairs.
Reluctantly I followed her out of the house and down a path. We arrived at a stone henge and it was gorgeously crafted but there was a bright green portal right behind the sundial. We both looked at each other for a minute
"Ladies first"
I shot her a look and walked to the portal, it didn't feel very welcoming but I didnt have anytime to think about it because I was pushed through.
I landed face first onto the stone tiled floor while she landed gracefully.
"if you're going to kidnap me, could I at least have your name?"
"Fair enough, im Piper"
"OK Piper, where are we going?"
"The Thirteenth realm of the undead, also known as Joy. Grab that key, we don't have much time"
"Realm of the undead?"
Piper never replied so I walked towards the key, it was handing from a skeleton's neck, hesitantly I yanked it off and walked up to piper
