Perhaps you have found this to be true and can even relate to a song completely, or perhaps you just don't understand and don't see how it can. But can it? Well, perhaps we will just have to find out as you meet someone, time goes on.

Their family has been at war for as long as they can remember - and longer than even that. What the reason is, not many know, but whatever the case, the families can't seem to get over the nasty grudge they hold against one another. They're next door neighbors, and so, as one can imagine, they always have some dispute going on. Their children, however, don't see why they are supposed to hate one another, especially given that there is no reason to - they seem nice, and heck, their families seem nice with the exception of all the stupid fighting. They act like they hate each other when their families are around, but they're curious about one another. They start hanging out at school and around town - when no one's around to report to their families - and eventually, feelings for one another develop. When word gets back to their parents, however...well, things don't go over well. They try to keep the two teens apart, but will it work? Will the two teens part ways? Or will they find a way to stay together?

They've been friends for a while, now, and she has liked him as more than that for a while now. He's so out of her league, she thinks it would never work out...would it? The idea of anything ever actually happening between them seems silly to her, and it seems impossible. But is it really?

Just Saying
Two boys, one girl, who really cares about whom? She has been dating a boy for a long time...and her boyfriend's honestly sort of a jerk to her. Her friends don't like him, and say their relationship is toxic. There's another boy who says he would treat her so much better if she'd just open her eyes and realize that her boyfriend was...well, not all that great for her, truth be told. He'd treat her the way he thought she deserved to be treated - with love and respect. Seeing how he has treated her makes him pretty upset, and disgusts him a good deal, and he wishes he could show her how he feels. So, what will happen? Will her boyfriend change when finally he sees just how much he has hurt her, or will she choose the other boy?

She's determined to get him to notice her, and isn't sure why she has to try so hard to impress him - and why she even bothers to. She's guarded, and doesn't want a serious relationship. She swore she'd never fall in love. But she soon finds herself getting attracted to him. Why or how, she doesn't know. Over time, what will happen? Will they fall for each other, or will she just give up and move on to the next boy available?

She's a girl who hasn't really been noticed by a lot of boys, but she's got a heart of gold. She would be the most loyal girl to any guy she would date. She meets him, and actually, he piques her interest - something that doesn't happen too often due to her standards. She can see he's been hurt before, even though he refuses to tell her that he has, or what even happened to make him give up on love. But she wants to show him it's not a bad thing to give love another try. Will she be able to get him to open up to her?

He has tried calling her to see if she would pick up, but she has refused so many times, he wonders why he even tries, anymore. But yet something isn't letting him give up, not yet. Will she ever end up giving him another chance, or will they stay broken up?

At first, he agrees, but starts to fall for her all over again before he even has time to tell her he thought calling it quits was better. They're giving it one more chance - will they finally be able to make up for good, or will they be torn apart?

These two just don't seem to have it easy - both are from broken homes - whether a parent isn't in the picture, family members are a mess, there's been a divorce or a loss no one is taking well, or something else, both have been left pretty hurt. They feel alone, like no one could possibly understand what it's like, and have given up on this thing called love - if they even believed in it, in the first place. Anymore, they don't know if they ever had. But when they meet, will they change and see that love does exist? Will they be able to make each other feel alive again and hold one another together, or will their relationship just fall apart like the rest had?

He doesn't like to let people in - yet, at the same time, he craves the feeling of getting some things off of his chest, things he has never told any other soul before. She's the girl who is always being asked out on dates, but constantly declines these boys' offers. Why? Because they are not sincere. She wants someone who will open up to her completely, with no secrets being kept from one another. When they meet and become friends, what will become of their relationship later down the road?

This should be obvious, though. Please make sure you have reviewed all of these rules before joining this roleplay. If you haven't, you can find them here.

Characters
You may have as many characters as you like, as of right now (however, please don't make a ton of one gender! I will not accept if I see anyone doing this - keep it balanced, and if no one fills in spots quick enough, I will allow you to fill in said spots later on). This is subject to change based upon how quickly slots are filled. No Mary Sues or Gary Stus, either - no one is perfect, each and every character should have both flaws and strong points.

Use "Fades to Black" or "Timeskip."
I'd prefer if "things" didn't happen, but if they do, please use "fades to black" or "time skip." The same rule applies if things get too gory/violent.

Language
No cussing, even if it's starred out. Period. Things like crap, freaking, etc., are okay, however. But we all know that CS rules prohibit cursing, due to the fact that there are children on this site.

Respect all other players.
This should be self-explanatory, but basically, this means be nice, don't exclude anyone, and if someone needs a recap, please give them one - or at least say you just don't know. But don't ignore them. And please don't get into fights here!

No god-modding/powerplaying.
No one likes it when you control their characters, or don't give them a chance to react.

Romance and drama
Both of these are allowed and strongly encouraged, as long as it follows CS rules. If the event is something major with drama, make sure it's okay with those you are RPing with before you actually do it. However, it shouldn't be multiple 1x1's combined into a group RP. Yes, romance is one of the main focuses of this RP, but interact with more than just the person your character may end up dating, please. c: Have friends, family members (as long as it's ok with the other RPer(s) involved that they are related, of course), and maybe even other enemies aside from their main enemy. Love triangles, breakups, cheating, and so on are acceptable scenarios (as long as, again, they follow CS rules). That sort of stuff does happen in real life, and so if later on you and your RP partner decide to have your characters break up and date other characters in the RP who may possibly be open for this reason or that, that is fine as long as you check with the other RPer(s) involved to make sure it's alright. c:

Activity
Please be active if you join. So many of my RP's have died quickly due to a lack of participation of the members. So, that being said, please let me know if you will be absent for some reason - if you're inactive for a week without notice, you'll have to be kicked out so that someone else may join. However, if, for some reason, you couldn't let me know and were absent for a while, I will let you back in, given the spot isn't taken by someone else (if it is and you really want back in, PM me and I'll try to work something out, such as adding an extra girl and boy into the RP).

Please PM me reserves. All reservations will last 24 hours, unless you need more time for a good, legitimate reason. Don't start roleplaying until I've accepted you!

Literacy/grammar/etc.
This roleplay is semi-lit - in my terms, that means 5 sentences minimum per post (per character), though even more lines than that are certainly always welcome here, if you wish. (: Writer's block is understandable, on occasion - we all get it sometimes. In addition, please use proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling - it is understandable to make a mistake here and there, though (everyone has done it). A little bit of text talk is also allowed in ooc (as long as people can actually understand what you're saying...things like the occasional, "lol," or "omg"), or if your characters are texting someone - otherwise, please try to avoid it, as it can be difficult to understand.

Forms
Please use your own form, if you can. I'd like to see your creativity! Please make them descriptive (keep in mind, this is what will show me that you meet the requirements for literacy)! This means, no RP it outs (this includes "they don't like to talk about their history," "Meet (name here) and you'll find out," etc. All elements should be filled in with actual information). And please post a picture, if you can - no anime/drawings! Finally, please post forms on the form thread!

Luke awoke to the tune of Apple's famous - though, perhaps to some, infamous - ringtone, Marimba. It was his phone, which had been ringing for a few seconds, now. He groaned quietly, burying his face into his pillow. "I need sleep..." he grumbled quietly into his pillow, his voice low and raspy from exhaustion and his words muffled. Inevitably, he'd have to face the fact that he had to get up, at some point. Although, he was trying to put that off for as long as he possibly could, just to get even a few more seconds of rest if he could. After a few seconds, his phone stopped ringing. He sighed a small breath of relief as he rolled onto his back as his lips gently curved up into a faint smile. He slowly started to drift off to sleep, again, snoring softly. That is, until his alarm started going off, again, just a few minutes later. The sound of the Marimba ringtone could be heard playing somewhat loudly throughout the room, as it had been last time. Getting annoyed by hearing the constant little tune, he sighed heavily and reluctantly sat up as a yawn escaped his mouth. He rubbed his eyes as he reached over to his nightstand, then searched around for the phone until he finally felt the cool, smooth rectangular device brush against his fingers. He grabbed it and looked at the screen. He slid his thumb across the slick screen to unlock the phone, which turned the alarm off completely. He murmured some inaudible words, presumably about how he hated mornings and whatnot, under his breath as he ran a hand through his messy, blond hair.
After a moment, Luke finally slid out of bed and headed to his closet. He pulled out this outfit, which consisted of a black tee-shirt, black skinny jeans, a black button-up shirt with silver buttons - though he left this unbuttoned - a longer necklace with a little silver Lego man pendant, and, finally, some black Vans. Then, he headed to the bathroom to get showered and ready for the day. A little while later, he was done, and walked out of the room. On the way out, he noticed Landon had just finished getting ready, as well. They shrugged and headed down the stairs, past the living room, and towards the front door. Seeing that they lived pretty close to a coffee shop, he figured that a coffee and some little snack would be a nice breakfast that day, rather than a bowl of cereal from the kitchen. And he could tell that Landon was probably thinking the same thing. He quickly headed out the door, then closed and locked it behind them once his brother had stepped out. He pulled his iPod out of his pocket, put his earbuds in, and scrolled through his music library. He decided to listen to Twenty One Pilots, then started walking down the street, towards the coffee shop. He quietly sang along to the song that was playing - "Heavydirtysoul" - and smiled as they headed down the street. Occasionally, he'd glanced over at Landon to see if his humming was annoying him - which he hoped it wasn't - then glanced back ahead of him when it appeared that his brother wasn't really all that bothered by it.

Landon awoke to the feeling of a soft, warm sensation on his cheeks and a bright light trying to peek past his eyelids. The sun rays that streamed through his windows, he thought. Of course, not being fully awake and alert yet, he slowly cracked his eyes open, only to flinch and squeeze them shut again when the light was granted access to his exposed pupils. He grimaced in annoyance and rolled on to his stomach, burying his face into his pillow. He let out a deep sigh of exhaustion - the thing is, he hadn't gone to bed late - in fact, if anything, he had gone to bed early, actually. So, why was he feeling so sleep-deprived? The answer was that he just hadn't gotten a good night's rest. He kept getting nightmares...once again, much to his dismay, of course. They weren't pleasant to experience - though no nightmare really was, he presumed. These, however, were especially unpleasant for the boy - they were old memories, so vivid and clear, he could feel them. It was as if they had just happened yesterday, or were happening all over again, in reality, in that very moment. And he absolutely hated them with every fiber in his body. They were memories he wished he could just forget some day - or, better yet, wake up from them and realize it really was nothing more than a dream. But, alas, this was reality, and life had to go on, one way or another. These dreams had caused him to wake up numerous times throughout the night, leaving him to toss and turn restlessly for Heaven only knows how long until he could somehow finally get himself to fall asleep, once more.
He laid in bed for several minutes, trying to convince his body to go back to sleep. This was to no avail - in fact, it just had the opposite effect. With every passing moment, it seemed like the boy just woke up more and more. Besides, he was afraid he'd get into yet another nightmare if he continued to try to sleep and prevailed. He couldn't take that, again...enough was enough. Experiencing it once was already too much, it just upset him even more than he was, already. He sighed, rolled onto his side, then reluctantly pulled the warm sheets away from his torso, only to be met by the cool air surrounding his bed. He bit his lip, then swung his legs over the ledge. He sat up, then rose to his feet, before heading over to his closet and grabbing this outfit before heading to the shower. As soon as he was finished, he grabbed his phone, then headed out of the room. He glanced over at Luke, who appeared to have just finished getting ready, himself. They shrugged and headed out of the house together, in search of something to do, to kill the free time they had on their hands. The twins started walking down the street, not quite sure what to do - but Landon thought, as long as he wasn't just sitting at home in boredom, or dwelling too much on the thoughts inflicted by his nightmares, he figured anything would be fine. Just then, he felt his stomach rumble, making a strange growling noise, indicating his hunger. He shrugged a little and they decided to a café located nearby, just a couple blocks away from home. He figured he could get something to eat, and the coffee would probably help wake him up, a bit. Besides, he figured Luke would be hungry, too...it hadn't appeared that he had eaten anything, as of yet, either, actually.

Isaac awoke to his Rhodesian Ridgeback, Donder, barking like he was mad. Isaac sat up, looking at the impatient young dog, annoyance in his eyes, "Donder opgesluit! Ek is wakker, okay?" he shouted. He gritted his teeth and stood up, heading downstairs and letting the dog out into the yard. He made himself some toast, eating quickly then heading back upstairs to change. It was early, so he took a decent length shower and changed into his usual wear, just a sweater and some jeans. He headed back downstairs, his father now up and about. "Goeie môre Isaki" he said tiredly, and Isaac returned the greeting. He was out the door pretty quickly, taking his sweet time.

Spencer woke up to the annoying sound of her old school alarm clock that sat
on her messy metal bedside table. She tried to keep her eyes closed for as
long as possible before driven on the edge of mad. With a grunt she reached
out and turned the alarm off. Trying to wipe the sleepiness off her eyes she
threw her blanket aside letting the cool air surround her. She looked around
her nearly clean room before choosing an outfit. The tomboy showered
quickly and curled her hair. Spencer put one layer of mascara on her
eyelashes and stumbled into the kitchen to be greeted by the family
yorkie. She grabbed an apple, her phone and earbuds and ran out the door listening to Ke$ha.The brunette girl walked
along the street heading to the town's small public library.With two books in hand Spencer stepped inside greeted with
the rush of cool air. She walked down the short flight of stairs into the main floor of the library. The girl returned the
books and sat down on a bright lime green beanbag. Sighing Spence looked around at the millions of books on shelves
deciding on which books to choose. Standing up the Spencer rummaged through all the books admiring all the different
covers and sizes. Finally she decided on a pretty thin book with a floral black and red cover. Taking the book and a few
others to the checkout desk Spencer pulled out her library card from her pocket and handed it to the librarian that was
working behind one of the desks. She kindly thanked the blond librarian that was about fifty years old and sat down on
a bench outside. It was her favorite bench one under a big oak tree.

Kaia woke to the sound of her mom getting ready in the next room. She groaned and reached for her phone, checking the time. It was later than she expected. Sighing, she got out of bed and changed into her workout clothes. Heading into the bathroom, she pulled her hair up into a ponytail and finished getting ready for the day. She grabbed her phone and headed downstairs, knocking on her mom's bedroom door as she went past to signal that she was going out. She grabbed a protein bar and quickly ate it before starting up her music and heading out.

Ashlyn woke to the early morning sunlight filtering through her window. She blindly searched for her phone, knocking a few things off the nightstand as she did so. Checking the time, she groaned. She needed to get up, but she really didn't want to. She rolled over, attempting to go back to sleep. Just as she was drifting off a few minutes later, her dad knocked on her door signaling that it was time for her to get up. She groaned and forced herself to get up, stumbling to the bathroom to shower.

Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep! The alarm clock on the small table next to Aidan's bed buzzed loudly, the little red numbers flashing 6:00 A.M. with each buzz. The boy in the bed, Aidan himself, groaned and opened an eye before closing it again and rubbing his face. With one hand on his face, he used the other to reach over and started smacking the alarm clock, hoping to somehow press the "snooze" button. However, all he accomplished was managing to almost knock his lamp onto the floor, which probably would not have been good. Finally, he sighed and sat up, turning off his alarm and rubbing his face once more. He swung his legs out of bed and got up. He was wearing blue athletic shorts and a white t-shirt, pretty much the outfit he always wore to bed. Aidan stretched and yawned before heading over to the door, stepping over his dog, Ahaura, on his way out. The German Shepherd lifted her head as she sensed her "brother" moving over her and stood, following him and then sitting outside the bathroom door as he went in to use the toilet and shower.
When he came out, he had a towel around his waist, though it wasn't for a long stretch of time, as his bedroom was right next to the bathroom. Aidan disappeared into his bedroom before coming out again, this time dressed in jeans and another t-shirt, with a flannel shirt that was unbuttoned over top and sneakers on his feet. His hair was still wet, but that wasn't a big concern to him. Once he decided that all was done upstairs, he headed downstairs with Ahaura close at his heels to feed her and then see what there was to eat for his own breakfast.

Cole was laying in his bed, watching the ceiling. The blankets were bunched up at the end, so he just lay there in his dark blue flannel pajama pants and gray t-shirt. His hands were rested behind his head as he quietly thought about everything and anything. He had been up a while, which was rather unfortunate, as he had woken up for some reason and hadn't been able to get back to sleep. Cole looked over at his clock, which read 7:36, and then looked back up at the ceiling. He had watched the sun risen, and then had just watched the shadows move across his ceiling slowly. So, he finally decided it was time to get up and actually do something. He sat up and got out of bed, heading into the bathroom to take a shower. Once he was out, he returned to his room briefly to get dressed and then headed downstairs to see what there was to see and do.
