Birds technically are descended from them by way they aren't really dinosaurs because they changed into what they are now XD. it's basically this if you took a bird in theory you could reverse engineer it's dna and create something dinosaur like which theres actually a whole science in real life working on that but I don't think it's good idea i mean come one jurassic park movies can pretty much prove that XD. except instead of dinosaurs we'd have chimera like animals with blended dna running a muck and thats just not good.

In any cause hybridizing like that on large scale isn't really possible with current technology but on small scale it can be done just not successfully. they have reverse engineer a bird or any animals genetics in order to actually research and figure out how to do it.

Basically what i'm saying is a chimera can be created with genetics but it can't actually survive and live due to the fact that theres no real viable way to create one without a host of deformities. meaning that combining animal genes of species that clearly aren't compatible isn't possible XD.
