Akane and James silently walked out from the headmaster's office. She carefully pulled the gilded handle, shutting the door tightly and quietly. James held a scrap of paper, a map of the school delicately inked onto it. Akane blew out a short puff of air, stretching her arms above her. "Jeez, these uniforms are uncomfortable." She said loudly, even though they were outside the headmaster's office. James looked around at their new school, the school grounds were above the standard he anticipated. "You'll get used to them and grow up enough to stop complaining." He retorted, pulling his tie looser. Akane comically threw her hands up in the air, muttering sarcastically "Oh no! I am not mature enough to be in his Lordship's presence!?" After recovering from her little dramatic movement, she stuck out her tongue at him. Backs up my comment, James thought unamused. He shoved her in annoyance and began to scrutinize the map. "Where should we head off to first?" He said plainly, glancing in both directions of the corridor. Akane shrugged, "Anywhere interesting I suppose." She said shortly, crossing her arms. James raised an eyebrow at her and then briskly walked off towards the commons, "Stop pouting and get a move on." Akane sarcastically groaned and jogging up towards him, keeping in time. As they walked, they spotted a girl walking in the opposite direction ((Yami)).

Yami swung her bag over her shoulder, and kept walking. She passed 2 1st years as walking but kept walking ignoring them to go find Valentine. She went to the cafeteria looking but to no prevail. She sighed and sat down to look for another box of pocky in her bag.

The duo walked towards the 'Commons', Akane dramatically flinging open the doors in a flourish. James casually walked through the doors, embarassment written all over his face. Akane ran after him, noticing that he didn't acknowledge her actions. Two girls walked past, arms linked and voices quiet as they gossiped. "So they must be the new students in first year." The blonde haired one muttered. The brunette nodded, "I heard they were like best friends; I bet a thousand yen they're not though..." In the background to this gossip, James was firing water arrows at Akane's head. The blonde girl glanced towards them, "Yeah..." She said with gormless expression. The girls skipped along through the corridors, long forgotten.

James and Akane were sitting on the grass in a particularly deserted and open place. The sunlight shone through the trees, dappling the shadows that bordered them on the green grass. Akane shifted into a lounging position, pulling out her iPod and a book called 'To Kill a Mockingbird', eyes darting from the pages to James' display of his power occasionally. Her uniform was still wet, though the sun naturally started to dry it. James had found a water source, mainly from the ornate fountain situated nearby. He practised manipulating it into different shapes; some complex and also some with a simple design. He attempted to recreate a sword, though the water burst from its shape as he strained his power too much. The water fell onto the grass, soaking into the firm earth. "Practise makes perfect." Akane suggested in a monotone voice, shaking a few droplets off from her hand.

Yami looked back at the 1st years while one was pulling a book out of her big. 'To Kill a Mockingbird'. She raised an eyebrow, 'Why is that girl reading American literature?' She stood up, closed her bag and threw it over her shoulder. She walked briskly to the girl and said, "Why are you reading American literature?" She tilted her head a little, and gawked at the girl waiting for an answer.

Akane looked up slowly from reading, resting the book on the grass. "No reason in particular. One of his books in fact." She replied rather shortly, pointing a index finger at James who was experimenting with water shields. He had not even bothered to look at the new girl talking to Akane, only giving a quick glance when she mentioned American literature. As Akane was talking, she suddenly realized it was the girl who had passed them in the corridor, walking in the opposite direction. Hmm, she pondered as she waited for a reply, I wonder what her Rose is...

((not sure what to post but here it goes...))

Samantha got up from her spot in the tree and jumped down. No one was around so she just walked through the trees back to the classroom. In the classroom was where she sat, drawing, untill the bell would ring. She sat at a desk way at the back and was uterly bored. She saw a guy, Arian, that looked her age down walking in the commons. She deicided to have some fun so she took out and scribbled on a piece of paper 'Hi, look up!' Samantha then opened the window and and used the air to guide the paper to him.
Arian saw a peice of paper gliding torwards him, when it was close enough the wind stopped and the paper practicly laneded in his hands. He read it and looked up seeing a girl leaning out of an upstairs window. He blinked and waved slightly. She looked like she wanted the paper back but he had no idea how to send it back. Then her eyes glowed bright blue and a gust of wind bumped into him. Thats when he figured out she was an air rose so he folded the paper into an airplane and threw it at the window.
Samantha smiled as he finally figured it out. She used her air to bring it back up to her, she grabbed it out of the air and wrote 'I'm Samantha, you are?' She then put a pen in the fold and sent it back down. Arian grabbed the paper but he was kind of annoyed so he crumpled the paper and walked into the building. He put the pen in his pocket and strode up the stairs. Samantha pouted when the boy crumpled the paper. She sat in her desk staring out the window when the door opened. She turned to look and saw the boy. Arian froze when he saw the girl. "Please tell me this isn't your class..." he told her. Samantha got up and went and sat on a desk and said, "Yep and we are the first students. We also don't have a teacher." She thought for a moment then asked, "So what's your name?" Arian sighed and said, "Arian..."

Kana stood and walked away from the wall corner, weaving silently through the trees. She started to push the air beneath her feet and with a hard push off the ground, began to skate a few inches over the ground. Her feet had no blades or skates, but they slid smoothly left and right as if she were on ice. The school was in sight in seconds and she continued to skate, hair growing longer as she went and managed to get inside and start to walk again before long. After Kana stopped using her power and touched the ground again, her hair was it's normal length. Walking silently but with her head held high, Kana made her way to her class and sat in the back corner window seat she always took.

Embry put her tray away and walked out of the cafateria,throwing the bread she'd brought to the grass and leaaving all the wild birds to have them. Without a word she walked towards the school building and listened to some smaller birds singing as she and her bird went to class.
